This is my personal favourite of all of the songs I've written for Blackcurrant.
I wanted to create something very ambient and melancholic, that also continuously builds and builds to the point of anger at the end. The lyrical meaning behind the song is about knowing somebody who's dealing with depression/suicidal thoughts, and trying to help them, as somebody who's also dealt with those thoughts in the past. It ends in an almost angry plea to stop them from taking their own life: "I'll set fire to a world without you, I don't care if you don't want this.".
It's a song that makes me emotional whenever I hear it, so I hope that you like it as well ❤️
