Happy Christmas eve! I'm just writing this on my sofa next to Kouta who is absolutely snoozing his head off 🐶💤

I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a safe Christmas and happy holidays. You guys have shown amazing support to me in 2021, and it's another year where I've been able to sustain making a living by creating covers on YouTube. You guys are absolutely the reason why I can continue to do this going into 2022, so for that I thank you with all of my heart.

I don't want to get negative at all - but I think its important to reflect honestly over the year. I didn't quite manage to get all of the content out that I wanted to in 2021. I wanted to make more videos where its not just me playing guitar, whilst showing more of my personality and give insights on aspects of music. I managed this in the first month or two, but I definitely let it completely slip after that. But what I did start was the gaming livestreams over on Twitch, which was another way I could put that type of content out, whilst being a bit different to what I planned still. Another thing was that I wanted to release another 1 or 2 band covers, but that isn't quite all within my control so we're still working on the next one!

I think raising my puppy had a bit more of a toll on my ability to stay focused and motivated on work that I initially thought. But now that I've altered my setup to laptop based, I'm already feeling more flexible and enjoying working in different areas and such.

So yeah I just wanted to reflect a bit on the year and start getting an idea of what I want from 2022. But the overriding emotion is gratitude to you guys. I really hope that you've been enjoying your stay on my Patreon page, and learning these songs has brightened up your year 😌

Once again - have a great christmas, and I'll be seeing you on the 26th, all being well, for my final video of the year!
