RM 'Indigo' Full Album Reaction

RM 'Indigo' Full Album Reaction

Comments

Highly recommend the Album Magazine Film, even before the Zach Sang show. It's like a documentary about Indigo, so good! https://youtu.be/lRy8OYhLO-A

Indigo recounts the stories and experiences namjoon has gone through like a diary. A lot of these songs and lyrics are strongly about a fight with himself, the fame, the loneliness and frustrations. It's about growing as a person, changing and saying goodbye to the memories that created you. Namjoon is moving onto the next stage in his life and was going through his years as a 26-28 year old. In his "film" documentary you'll be able to hear him elaborate more on the songs, the ideas, and how much of a vision and clear image he had of this album and collab choices. Tablo is a legendary rapper in south korea. He's apart of epik high which is one of the main reasons why suga and namjoon became rappers. Fly was the song that drew them both in and their love continued from there, so it's amazing to see a collaboration between them. Most of these artists are true veterans in the music industry and joon hand picked every single one of them with utmost respect and admiration.

RM said on the Zack Zhang show/interview that they used the original demo to make Change 2 and he was drunk at the time he did the demo. He couldn't sing on key he couldn't sing off key so that's why they went with the demo. 😄

I agree. Zach Sang's interview is great (It kinda goes over the same behind the scenes info in English.) But I think we get an even better explanation of each song in the Indigo Magazine Film because Namjoon shared his thoughts mostly in Korean. Also it's really cool to get the perspectives of the producers and collaborators on each song.

Yea Change with Wale came out years ago. It's not on Indigo. Surprised you hadn't heard it before. I love the album. Gives us a little bit of everything when it comes to genres. RM truly delivered.

Hello, DT parker! I enjoyed watching the reaction video. However, RM asked me to listen to the track list in order, but it's a shame that the order is mixed. Do you happen to know about the Korean TV show 'The Dictionary of Useless Knowledge' which RM has been on his own for the first time in a while since his previous appearance on the 'Problematic Men' TV show? It is a talk show where famous experts in each field discuss various topics. It is a TV show that has been quite popular in Korea since season 1. RM is an MC, so he usually listens to it, but many people are looking forward to it because it is the appearance of RM, who is famous for his smartness. The first episode has already been aired and has high ratings. I don't know if there's a way to see it in your country, but I'm sharing it because I think you'll like it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rw_YLQVAR0 (The sentence may not be smooth because I am using a translator. I ask for your understanding😅)

DT, I think you should really check out RM's Indigo Magazine Film. He talks about every single song from Indigo and all the artists he has collaborated with on Indigo are also in the video. It's very interesting. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/lRy8OYhLO-A
