Not to say he doesn't cook anymore because clearly he still enjoys to do so. He's allergic to garlic (which is found in nearly everything) and potatoes. He is less allergic to garlic than he is to potatoes and is still able to eat some dishes with garlic in them, like kimchi. The chef in this show named Chef Lee Yeon Bok has actually become a good friend of jin after being on this program together. They have since met up multiple times and lee yeon bok gave him a few cooking lessons.
