I think the fake kidnapping and how the boys were treated initially was way out of line. I'm sure that in retrospect, the producers of the show probably realized it too. Thank goodness Tony & 2 diff guys showed up the next morning 🌄. I think Coolio was about as Neanderthal as the kidnapping dudes though. Not good. It looks like Suga figured out it was all staged once he saw the cameras. I started to die laughing when I saw Tae relaxing and being his usual goofball self as soon as he realized the indoctrination was all staged. I know there will be a few more cringe-worthy moments yet to come, but I really want to watch all the episodes in full to see what the guys leared from their AHL experience. Can't wait for episode 2!

Despite the amount of people that dislike it, i for one love it. There are a few moments that did annoy me but overall, it's not the end of the world. The boys learned a lot and were able to grow as young artists. It's really entertaining and does have funny moments. They worked extremely hard during this time and were even in the process of recording for their dark and wild album! I hope you also react to the behind the scenes for this. Each episode has about 4-5 tiny clips that range in time between 2-10 minutes. Super short but totally worth watching!

That’s why even before the pandemic you would always see the boys and other Koreans wearing masks all the time, it was already pretty normal over there.

I didn’t like the music video they made there because it looked typically American ( with the girls at the glam appartment etc...) and that is not BTS. I did really enjoy the tutoring they received and the concert.

Funny thing is I watched this back then and didn't cringe too much, I guess I was just as young as BTS but now I get so much secondhand embarrassment lol Unpopular opinion here, but I remember back in the day some people speculated that the kidnapping prank was not as bad as people think. While maknae line and j-hope looked legitmate scared, some said that at least RM might have been told in advance that some sort of "situation" would happen. Some said Suga saw the cameras when they entered the place too. And the kidnappers on the van did say "we are taking you to your hotel" so RM might have caught up on something...It could have been dangerous if they were totally in the dark about it and one of the guys tried to run off the van or smth. I still don't know what to think of this... It's endearing how they were so excited about America, they were so naive...I just got reminded of their talk with Halsey backstage when she told them that she hoped they know there's good people in America (she probably knows a lot about the shit and prejudice they still face over there to this day...)

So, I do like watching it every once while. To top it of, I get to watch it with DT which makes it even more fun. I can't wait for the next episode😊💜
