Oh what I'd give to be able to invest as much time as some of you have in being mad about him not knowing a member was missing right away. We have a pandemic. People are starving, being evicted, sick, and dying. How about a little perspective on what is truly important and what is worthy of your time and energy. This shouldn't be where you spend it. I don’t think such a long lecture was needed. She didn’t even say everyone hates Jm. She said he gets a lot of hate from within the fandom which is an objectively true statement. You don’t have to go far just check DTs comment section on YouTube or even this video. People are presenting their statements as if that’s not the case but it’s very clear they are upset that he has a bias, and he praises his bias. Since you are “A very objective and very smart and very flexible’ person, I am sure you should be able to look at a lot of these subtle shady comments and understand where zoey was coming from, if u still refuse to see it then well u just intentionally don’t wanna see it and there’s nothing anyone can do abt it

Omg u guys really need to stop with the drama and stop trying to make issues out of nothing. Each performance has a focal point or a factor. For mma it was jikook and Hobi s dance break, so naturally people will talk more abt that. When other members participate in a dance break or a Stand out vocal or rap verse we appreciate them as well. Just stop with ur negativity

Literally even army’s have to sometimes rewatch videos multiple times to fully grasp what each member is doing.so why do u guys expect dt to get everything on the first watch. Like pjm peaches said it was a very dynamic performance, there was a lot going on, mistakes or over sights can happen. Also it’s one thing to point something out once but ppl keep harping on it and trying to start pity parties for diff members in the comments. Why can’t everyone just move on from this issue and enjoy bts magical performance

Please stop with the victimizing Hobi agenda. It’s funny how he didn’t notice Yoongi but u are trying to turn it into a pity party for Hobi. MMA was a very dynamic performance and a lot was going on. there’s seven members so even army’s have to watch some videos 7 times to see what each member was doing, so why expect that DT will automatically notice everything on the first watch. Relax and rather than thinking so negatively rewatch bts performance and enjoy it

And the issue always with Solo Stans, they always feel like you are throwing hate with their bias. When the concern itself, is just providing a feedback to DT, as a reactor, as his profession and influencer. Everybody here love all the boys. Having a bias is okay.

Jhope was awesome in Dynamite. He's so smooth and such a natural. Dancing is in his blood. When he moves, he makes it look so easy.

People think they compliment Jin but it's really not. It's backhanded compliments. JK is the center for good reasons. Do people expect him to have less lines and camera times being the center? IMHO, J-hope is the best dancer in the group, however, his style is different from Jimin. This is why I don't have a bias.

I do think a lot of you care way to much about what others think in a comment section DT addressed the issue of him not seeing Yoongi was missing but suddenly this turned into my bias doesn't get noticed/ my bias gets more hate. I really think some of you need to step back and remove negativity from your internet space. It's unhealthy. Anyways BTS were awesome as always and outperformed the whole industry as a group this weekend, that is worth celebrating not spending your time picking at ARMY / DT.

solo stans arent always wrong though? jimin does get the most hate, from inside the fandom and outside. instead of helping report a hateful hashtag and trend jimins birthday hashtags last year, armys trended "bts paved the way" on his birthday :/

Anyways I deleted my comment because the amount of ppl that turn a blind eye to the amount of hate jm gets from his own fandom is beyond me anybody with eyes can see what goes on twitter. As an ot7 jm biased the number of times I get called a solo stan just for defending him is alarming. I understand some ppl are mad at DT because of not noticing suga wasn't there but I know that was not the only reason, just because he didn't compliment everyone equally suddenly its a problem there are other channels out there that only talk about the RL and ignore the VL but yet I never see anyone have a problem with that.

why am i having this feeling lately, that DT's channel, is becoming a solo stan or maknae stan channel.... its no longer the same as before.... i love all 7 members.... i think the issue is not about the members, but on how DT has attracted a lot of solo stans, and taking control of his channels now, with how he run his bts vid reaction and live streams lately.... this is just based on my observation.

Exactly, this is exactly how I feel. I absolutely love the maknae line and really do think they deserve praise and recognition. It is just frustrating when that takes away from the other members. One thing that really frustrates me about that is when people praise Jin by saying "he's good for learning how to sing with no experience'. It weirdly takes away from his talent. He is just as good as the whole maknae line and is easily one of the best to being stable when I comes to singing live. Also with the rapline, they are the foundation of BTS, especially RM. It's very frustrating when people ignore RM because BTS was made from the simple idea of RM. Don't even get my started on Hobi. He is easily one of the best dancers and performers in the industry, not speaking just K-Pop but the whole music industry. His presence in live performance is absolutely amazing but people just seem to ignore it. Even with all the strange stereotypes revolving around Yoongi, those just annoy me in general.

all swear ,like really not even jin during the black swan performance like really mostly the hyung line get ignored and its unfair ,i have seen comments not hear saying they are only for bts because of maknae line and its so unfair. And i am not saying maknae dont deserve the recognition , like jungkook ,he really does his best and people still criticize him for being main vocalist and getting lines and also for his dance and being the center which is very sad. they expect him to be good at everything so unfair. and when he does things well they dont give any recognition. and jin and rm i could see they really worked well for the black swan performance no one really gives them any credit.

It's so frustrating how barely any of these comments mention Hoseok. His performance was spectacular and stole the show. People bias towards the maknae line always seem to ignore and miss the one of the best dancers, if not the best dancer, in the industry's talent. I am not talking about DT by the way. I know he loves J-Hope and thinks he's an amazing performer. I'm talking about the comments here and the majority of the fandom.

How were the first three performances focused on the maknae line? Hoseok was up there performing just as much as the maknae line was and Namjoon and Jin were amazing as well. Kinda disappointing that you said this. It's so frustrating how the dance leader and easily one of the best dancers, if not the best!, in the industry (J-Hope) gets brushed over like this all the time.

Just my thoughts, but I think it's easy for us to be rather critical on the internet. At least one can take away that DT had no ill intentions, in fact he's always been super supportive of Yoongi, and every member. BTS did a great job of filling up the stage even as they left Yoongi's place empty. Of course Suga's presence is greatly missed and they're not complete without him, but let's focus on the fact that they put on a great performance regardless which speaks to their teamwork and stage presence. :)

I think it's dangerous to make too many judgements why members post more/less or what are they feeling, if they themselves dont explicitly say it (just shuddering when i remember the Jin & truck fiasco from last summer). And I think it's better not make it into a competition who gets more hate, has more antis etc - I mean you are right sadly it seems like the maknae line gets the worst of it, but they are also the most popular members (at least if we go by those whose is the most searched/mentioned member), I'm not saying at all that this justifies it, just that the brighter the light is, the darker the shadows. And I do stand behind what I said of if you don't appreciate all of them then you aren't a real army, that is why I said the fandom loves him as to me those who dont clearly aren't part of the fandom.

idk why everyone is jumping on him for not noticing. he was probably overwhelmed and he hasn’t been an army for nearly as long as most people (like me, since they debuted) so ofc i noticed, just didn’t make a big deal out of it bc i was so shocked from jimin and jungkooks dance, and then they moved onto the other performances so quick, i don’t even think i was focused.

i mean ... armys are the ones who made fun of his twt videos and then he stopped and then called him an attention seeker when he posted for the members and they drove him away from twt completely (good for both jk AND jm, glad they stay off social media considering the amount of hate they get.) but when he doesn’t post for members they accuse him of not caring? don’t wanna argue but it’s not hard to notice jimin is targeted by media, antis, armys, shippers, etc the most. jk definitely is next (especially media ... they love blowing stuff up)

Thanks nizzytoyo11 and Blau for your points of view on this. This had nothing to do with jimin. The people who expressed a bit of disappointment did it politely and rightfully so. No one here was rude to him, so I don't understand when people mentioned he was being slaughtered, like...If people wanna talk slaughter, then check the comment section of his youtube channel. Now there you will find some rude and unnecessary hate towards DT. I think it’s only natural people expect him to be more careful regarding things like this. He has been reacting to BTS for almost a year now...of course he is not expected to know every single thing and every single tiny detail, but noticing a member’s absence is a huge thing (at least for true ot7 armys), it’s considerate. But mistakes can happen, I think the people who commented did so more in the hopes that he improve and be more aware of things like this in the future (considering he is a reactor and has stated before that this is his current job) than to bash him or anything. The fact that he justified not noticing Yoongi’s absence because the first 3 performances were focused on the maknae line made me go 😐. I mean, those were songs in wich every single member had their parts so I really don’t get what he was trying to say. The fact that no one on this comment section bats an eye at this explanation doesn’t sit right with me either. But still, let's not confuse things, people were rude to him on youtube, here I think it was more of a feedback thing (wich he is mature enough to take as it is, DT is not a child just like BTS are not children either and don't need "fans" victimizing them as Blau said)

Zoey not sure where you got the idea that the fandom hates Jimin, especially seeing how much everyone praised both Jimin and JK especially in this - the fandom adores Jimin??? Sadly yeah there are some fans who for some reason don't appreciate all the members, but don't victimize Jimin when army loves him dearly. A person is not an army if they dont love all 7, meaning they are not part of the fandom then. And I love how obvious DT is with his bias being Jimin, even if I myself am Seokjin & Yoongi biased and of course like to see people praising them too. (And yeah i was a bit surprised he didnt notice the absence of Yoongi before but also most armys knew he wouldnt be there so we knew to look for the space left for him and at least I always do a head count when I see them, but yeah no reason to get angry at him either.)

Sugar was not there because of his surgery as we know but they left spots for him. When BTS came down the stairs there was a vacant spot between V and Jin. (SUGA) When they performed ON, when they turn their backs and put their hand on each other's shoulders there was a space left for the foot light to shine through. (SUGA) When they did Life Goes On, they recorded Suga's part so we could hear his voice. His spirit was with them. To me that was showing. PURE LOVE FOR EACH OTHER..💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I loved this but cried so much! I cried at the beauty of Black Swan. I cried when I saw the space left for Yoongi on the N.O. stage before ON. I cried when WAB:E started. I rejoiced when I saw the MJ-inspired dance break because they are the first performers since then to have this ability and stage presence. Great job as always DT. So glad to have a place to share this all this 💜

I was 💔 when you didn’t noticed that Suga wasn’t there until his part in “Life Goes On”. They highlighted his absence in every song by not change the choreography abs showing his spot empty. That’s why I think the didn’t sign for black swan. That symbolism was the best love for Suga throughout the entire show.

The contemporary move Jungkook and Jimin did must be new in the kpop world (I don't follow other groups so I don't know if anyone has done it before) but same sex partners in ballet/contemporary is actually nothing new. If anyone is interested search for BalletBoyz or performances from Nicol Edmonds and Matthew Ball from London Royal Ballet, they're great. My sister is a ballerina and she said that move requires strenght (along other things of course), so it makes sense JK was the one who did it with JM.

Suga had surgery on his shoulder. He has not been there for any of their live performances. Anything Life Goes On related with him in it was pre-recorded before he had his procedure. I felt his absence so much in this 😢

OMG I loved all the performances but Black Swan and Dynamite was it for me! the dance breaking dynamite and j-hope killing the Michael Jackson ugh, I Am So Dead right now. I noticed there was a space between V and I don't know who it was and I'm like why is he so far away and then I'm like ah I bet that represents Suga's place. go back and watch the ON performance again. youll see they leave a spot for yoongi between them while walking and at the end when they have arms around each other. yoongi might not be physically there but he is there with them and they make sure to leave a spot open

The performances were all more than spectacular. There is no word to describe it really. How they incorporated ARMY and kept Suga part of the performance despite his absence. But what hit me the most was Black Swan. The sequence with the backup dancers before Jimin appeared and then JK lifting Jimin like in the original ballet...that was so aesthetically and artistically pleasing...and the dance break in Dynamite was amazing. An hommage to MJ, Soultrain, Travolta it felt like. BTS always delivers artistry at the highest level.

In fact during this ceremony each artist performed at least 2 songs with an intro with also a staging; but BTS are so excellent and charismatic that we only remember them... I wouldn't want people to think that they are favored as some would have you believe and they have performed mostly on the NMA stage.

It was just brilliant though felt Yoongi's absence (I mean if you watch it again and look for it, you'll notice how they always left an empty stop for Yoongi, like even when they stood in a row there was very noticeable spot for him). The Black swam intro was breathtaking, jikook, namjin and vhope all delivered flawlessly...and I have yet to recover from seeing Jung Hoseok in that velvet jumpsuit chest out, hair slick and moving like only he can. Cant wait for what they bring to the table tomorrow! (Also ATEEZ so it will be like an double treat for me :D)
