Was trying to find something to post for today that wouldn't spoil the release image... so instead I'll show this girl that is making a starter appearance into the game, she's not scripted into anywhere, but can be accessed from the front room for now. We've spent the past week refactoring the click system, which oddly enough ran super smoothly on first try. We also refactored a bit of the overworld system in preparations for a better encounter rolling system. (There will be two methods of calculating encounters, one is a 'per segment' calculation, the other is a 'average segment' calculation, which is not possible right now, and makes the encounters quite predictable due to the nature of curvy paths. For the system to work well, I want the encounters to be region oriented, but still be able to only have one encounter in a large segment of connections between two nodes. Next week is bug fixing and task completion (I save the small stuff for the last) and adding some more content... I hope at least two complete set's of encounters, one is already done... but triggers in the middle of a long path so it looks odd.
