2020-11-03 02:14:05 +0000 UTCI was there for that Singapore concert. The thing about the weather here is it is not just hot, but it's mad humid as well.. Usually the heat is bearable but the humidity challenges you. I think the boys visit so many countries that had hot weather too.. but probably hadn't been tested to the level of humidity in Singapore. We are used to it.. it doesn't really bother us.. oh we complain but since we only have rainy and hot season, we are accustomed to it. But after watching this episode, we had no clue that JK was having a hard time.. or any of the boys. They gave their all during their performances.. it was nothing short of spectacular.. the atmosphere, the hype and the excitement lasted throughout the whole show. They were absolutely fantastic.. hence, it was hard to acknowledge that there were struggling back stage. Our hearts go out to the boys.. and you're right.. it's worrisome and we can't help feeling that way because as much as we want to see them perform live.. we also want them to stay healthy and be ok. Cos we love them so..

So that's why when the concerts got cancelled this year, you can feel and see how upset and depressed they were. And that was not just for show. They really had a hard time but its just so commendable how bang pdnim managed to find 7 members who loved the stage so much ya know. BTS is meant for the whole stage and even when you see them virtually , you can feel it in their bones that they are dying to perform for us. i felt like that too DT, like why would they break their bones just for us and concerts right? But as you slowly go down the rabbit hole, you cant deny their passion for the stage and you cant stop them from doing what lights up their world. I have always felt that they worked too hard , but they have also inspired me to work just as hard and do what i can for my life. I love bangtan with all of my heart and i am so thankful to actually be at that singapore's concert and it was hella hot! Insanely hot but that is just really singapore's weather hahahah.

Just couple of days ago they posted a video of them discussing plans for the new music video which was absolutely fascinating to listing to!

You asked about song writing โ ๐ผ ๐ต ๐ถ ๐น ๐ผ? Well, it's become quite the collaborative project these days with various pop groups. Whether you're composing the song, or writing the lyrics, it's a creative process. Most musicians I've encountered are tortured artists, always trying to find the perfect musical phrase or lyric. If you're in the right mood ๐, the barometric pressure ๐ก is low, and the stars ๐ are aligning, masterpieces can be written from start to finish in less than an hour ๐. Sometimes a song ๐ต can be pieced together over months or put away and re-visited years later. Considering that BTS writes Korean lyrics with some English, it further complicates things. I wondered during this episode, how would BTS do with their lyrical writing if RM didn't speak English so well? He's the group's master lyricist & often helps other members write their lyrics. What amazes me is how they manage to write such great music on these crazy timelines! 2-3 albums/year & mixtapes are all part of the equation as well. It's mind boggling! No wonder Suga brought his keyboard & recording equipment with him for the 'In the Soop' trip....SUGA!!!!!!๐ As for JK never slowing down...the extreme hot temperatures ๐กat some of the stadium tour locations forced JK to start considering J-Hopes words...Sao Paolo...

2020-09-24 05:26:35 +0000 UTCI am always amazed at their lyrics and can't imagine how difficult it is and then they sprinkle English words and phrases throughout the song which must make it even harder. They are masters at knowing where and what words to use. I've never fallen in love with any musicians lyrics the way I have with BTS.

This episode is so brilliant for giving us a glimpse into the process of song writing by following Jimin and V as they write their "Promise" and "Scenery". Not to mention, the masterclass from RM. I am in my nerdy happy place. I hope some of this is included in the movie.
