This was my first listen, but I was surprised how many songs I knew and loved already from other playlists. I am grateful you reacted, DT, so I could experience RM's Mono.

I always listen to this album to gain more perspective on life and it honestly made me more happier after i listened to the whole album twice because he really wants you to juat sit down and think , and if not to just quietly calm your soul when you feel lost. I always cry when i listened to moonchild and everything goes and forever rain cuz its just too powerful you know. This album has the most #1 album on itunes btw! heheehe

I loved every single songs in this album (“playlist” is what RM calls it “mono playlist” it’s not an album) “Everything goes” is my to go jam when I need a friend!

Never have I heard of an artist talk about the human experience as raw and thoughtful the way RM did with mono. Each song is so meaningful and relatable to what everyone goes through, but don't always talk about. Even the arrangement of the songs can be viewed as a cycle! A cycle of emotions and experiences people feel. It's just crazy man. mono is a masterpiece and a gift to the world

Did you hear the violins, the piano, the drums... The production is crazy and the compositions are incredible and rare in this music industry. The way the tracks are arranged on the mixtape makes it a reflection from beginning to end with always hopefulness breathed here and there... It does not disperse... It feels like a friend is holding your shoulder and helping you see more clearly. And the lyrics... My God... beautiful and deep and so well written...It fills all the codes of a good poet or a good thinker... his words transcend you to the depths of your soul. I think that the more you will discover the discography of BTS and the mixtapes, the more you will understand their success and their longevity... It's really above all talent... God made 7 valiant hearts come together to form a unique jewel that we will never know again... History will do them justice long after we are gone.

I hope you consider listening to the full mixtapes from the other two rappers as they were also a pretty great outlet for hobi and yoongi to tell us some of their storys which they sometimes only can do on a solo project. thank you again DT this was worth dropping my office work and taking a little break 😂

2020-09-16 05:58:31 +0000 UTCpeople say that when you listen to mono, it's not you listening to the songs but the songs listening to you. 2018 was probably one of the hardest years of my life and when he randomly dropped this playlist it honestly changed my entire life not even being dramatic lol. it's one of my favorite works of art of all time and i could never be more thankful to namjoon for sharing it with the world. i have 3 tattoos dedicated to it already and planning on one (maybe two lol) more.

I had the same thoughts, every single track I could relate to one way or another and not going to lie I did cry on one of them because it really touched me.... it’s hard to believe that the boys do these kinds of beautiful projects themselves with their whole feelings something that feels too precious to listen as if we are REALLY seeing and can hear their raw feelings ... it’s like hearing a secret you weren’t supposed to hear about...and they put it out for free for us to listen to ...of course we cannot just accept these masterpieces for free and we still buy them even tho it’s free... Did you have a favorite? I love the whole mixtape, my favs where the first 3, Moonchild being my top top favorite that really touched me and made me cry.

I remember when it was announced and he was basically like “new mixtape in 3 days” on twitter and that was it.. and the way this mixtape has touched my life.. all the songs have impacted me so so much but especially Tokyo on days I’m feeling numb to the world..I really can say mono has saved my life during my most difficult moments.
