The nine tails is painted as a demonic spirit in this show which is why Naruto was chastised as a kid. You have to view the fox and Naruto as two separate entities, just like the hulk and Bruce banner. The fox is using his body as a medium to exert its will.

Before i was on the fence whether you would enjoy one piece, but now i think you would not like it so much considering your criticisms for naruto and hunterxhunter. but im still hoping to be wrong
