"LEFT BEHIND" SECOND POLL - CHARACTER & VISUAL

The first poll gave as result a single character for all the story, in a way is good since it will require less work on the character making... anyway, now I want to give you more info about the setting and story of the project.

May 2003, America...

A TV troupe is sent in one of those american rural places full of nature where is present a small city (a place with a forest, a lake, a sawmill, an exausted old mine, etc.), the reason of their presence their is that someone organized various events there only for lead there a large number of people, like hunters, RPG live game players, and so on.

The TV troupe is composed by 4 people that are the journalist, the cameraman, the van driver that manage what is recorded and manage the connection with the TV station and the phonic.

During the live of the journalist something strange happen and mist start to surrond the entire zone, the mist was rapid and unnounced, at the beginning none had problem but then someone started to shoot and panic spread where they are, the troupe hide in the van but then something strange happen since the van is literally lifted and throw away like it was a toy.

The player get control of the phonic and start its journey in the nightmare... the game project is though for "troll" the player as at the beginning all things seems supernatural but checking documents and progressing in the story is discovered that in truth is all technology, basically a scientist was making a research on a way for convert digital data into real matter, the research reached a dead end when he lost his found until a private group saw the potential and gave him found... long story short the scientist went mad and used that place for a field test calling there all that people for use them as guinea pigs.

The mist is an energetic field that is used for create an environment wher the conversion data > material can take place, any puzzle is basically a lock and key protection system, enemies are defensive programs that detect the MC as a virus, etc.

This is for what concern the main story that I think is quite original given that usually any story keep a sci-fi or supernatural theme and never trick the player in think one thing or another, my mad idea here is make the character assume supernatural events with the little knowledges they have but in truth is all scientific... anyway, in this poll you'll select 3 elements of the project:

- The view, with first person I refer basically to a game like the last 2 resident evil that are the 7 and 8... or the classical third person like in the remake of RE 2 and Nemesis.

- The gender of the main character.

- The "nationality" of the main character, I said nationality but in truth is for select more the skin color and its traits... the reason for this is that basically almost the 90% of the games have always the "fair skin hero" that survive the nightmare, this tropes are sometimes difficult to digest in my opinion... for this reason I come out with 3 generic option that are the classical american / european one, the one with asian traits that till now, at least in my knowledge, exist only in the fatal frame series, and last but not less important, the afro american main character that will survive breaking that stupid trope that the black guy always die first.
