She'd just feel it coming over her, often in broad daylight, and she'd have five to ten minutes to excuse herself before the fur started rushing in.
There didn't seem to be a set schedule, but she was starting to get a sense of foreboding the day before, which was why today she was wandering the woods by herself, waiting to get it over with. And she wasn't wrong, as that familiar itch settled in across her body.
Memories of what she'd been up to as a wolf girl were always a little hazy, but for the most part she'd remained under control, if a little giddy or "high." That had changed a few transformations ago, when she'd abruptly come-to in an unfamiliar alley with no memory of how she'd arrived there. Since then, she dyed her hair bright red...she told friends and family it just felt like it was time for a change...in reality, she wanted to stay highly visible, so if her bestial self ended up doing something horrible, her victims would have a chance to spot her and run.
