When a client comes to you wanting to bring a lawsuit against someone else, and the details seem in their favor, what can you do but offer your services? It had been foolish of him to waste money on a magic spell, since magic doesn't exist, but that doesn't mean that self-styled witches can just con people out of their money. No matter how much she insisted the spell WAS active, that he WOULD experience better luck in his love life, to just give it time...the judge wasn't having it. So he was awarded what he'd paid, and then some...the look she got from the "witch" on the way out of the courtroom was priceless.
But now, if only she could see the look on her own face...pushing forward into a slight muzzle, peering down at the disaster on her chest, those giant, jostling orbs...she began to wonder if maybe magic might be real after all.
It just...it wasn't her fault, was it?
