Squirrelhood

A simple walk in the park was quickly spiraling into a major concern...wincing, she looked up at the squirrel that had bit her, standing a few feet away and chittering. She reached out towards him, but lost balance and pitched forward onto the ground. She was burning up...she tore off her clothes, not caring a bit for whoever might see her in this moment. Her eyes shot open when she noticed the fur sprouting across her form, and the small welts developing on her stomach. Her feet reshaped into animalistic paws, and she felt her spine snaking outward into a bushy tail.
"N-no...this is impossible..." she whispered. She stared in disbelief at her squirrel body, then glanced again at the little mammal who presumably was responsible. He cocked his head to the side and seemed to be waiting for something. Indeed, as she watched, the squirrel seemed to loom larger, along with the grass surrounding her...she realized that she was slowly shrinking, becoming a size more befitting her form. The squirrel stepped closer to her, his nose quivering in the crisp morning air...
