This was your favorite spot on the beach to come fool around...after the accident that rendered her permanently wolfy, all the stress and strife associated with that, you hadn't found a good opportunity to come back. Perhaps ironically, she's been LESS wild and adventurous since then...but who could blame her, not wanting to be seen in public like this?
Today, after some coaxing, you finally got her to come out here with you again. As she lowered herself onto you, she closed her eyes...trying to forget everything, her fur, her new form, and just go back to being herself...just you and her, enjoying yourselves like you always used to.
