She was well aware of the meme and couldn't believe companies were still paying for photos like these. Maybe it really helped sell salads? Or a general sense of positivity surrounding healthy eating?
They asked her to eat some of it to get some action shots, so she did, and found it actually pretty tasty. As she took more and more bites, she became so engrossed that she didn't notice the effect it was starting to have on her...nor the fact that the photographers seemed to have expected this outcome.
