Weekly Update - April 22nd

Happy Easter! I realised on like Thursday that I didn't write a blog last weekend, I was preoccupied with a bunch of other stuff and it completely slipped my mind - oops. I'm sure the daily fics were more interesting anyway haha.

Bakugatsu is finally over! I successfully posted daily for all 20 days, with a total of 47,706 words (50k this month should be easy, now) across 17 fics, with one still ongoing and another potentially gaining more chapters at a later date. For thos of you who might not have read "The Purrfect Companion" yet, please do, I need the excuse to write more of it haha. I'm having so much fun with Kacchan and his kitty.

Now that that's all done, I'm back to working on a commission piece that will hopefully start posting early next month - it will be a total of about 30k so it's taking me a while, but so far I'm liking it!! There's a lot of pining and it's probably the slowest burn I've written to date.

When that's done I have another commissioner waiting in the wings, and possibly a third after that.

It's amazing that I can open a Patreon window and type out a blog like this without a second thought, but when someone gives me a prompt for a fic my brain just refuses to cooperate sometimes.

My general words of advice for writer's block are "write something else" so I'm just avoiding those ones until inspiration strikes, I suppose.

As an aside, I'm slowly coming up on a few milestones for twitter followers and Ao3 numbers etc, so if you have any suggestions for how to celebrate 1k followers, 100th fic, or 1,000,000th word on Ao3 feel free to let me know!!
