Not a fan of being able to see Morganes logs as I mentioned.. but I understand it's something that most want. At same time- depending on Morganes relationship changes in characters aside from Avar.. There's plenty of ways she could develop beyond the discord app. She still has a phone surely?.. And even if Avar knows she's meeting up with someone there's no way to tell what they talked about during the meetup(alternate forms of contact- stuff that Avar doesn't know about.- an agreement for a regular meet up or something.. maybe even blackmail)- Avar's sister also likely snooping so that's an extra character that might cause a confrontation if Morganes logs get a little crazy. It sort of contrasts with your changes to make Avar a little less rude to Morgane specifically and any plan to develop that relationship past just sex as well- if Avar is meant to know all that we know and Morgane throws too many tips on discord.. seems like Avar would learn of it and either wait until it comes out on it's own then point out Morgane is just a slut and he doesn't care- as he's known about it for a while.. Or he would confront her because he believes it's something that should be stopped. It'd put the ultimatum on Avar of "well fuck her- she's not loyal and I don't have to be either"- and "Maybe she got herself into trouble and I should try to help." Probably roll with the first choice being who he is. Well gotta keep my hopes in check.. Everythings still far away.

2024-05-17 13:37:20 +0000 UTCI like your message, you seem to have understood quite a lot about certain characters and I'm pleased to see that you're really taking the time to read and understand the texts! I'm well aware of the penchant some people have for hidden cheating in the NTR, which is why I put out a poll the other day asking if it was something you'd prefer, i.e. that Avar could no longer read Morgane's dialogue (and let me reassure you, he still can, and that's what most of you want, so it's a good thing). HOWEVER, I think you'll like the way things are going. Without spoiling too much the main TWIST of update 2 (and surely the one that will follow in update 3), a lot of things will happen without us really understanding which lines Morgane has or hasn't crossed while we see it from Avar's perspective... And to answer another point you raised, Avar will remain the main character and the ONLY P.O.V. throughout the game. So everything the player knows, Avar knows. And he's a clever little guy, so if you guess/suspect that Morgane has done something forbidden, Avar will know it too. Just assume that everything you know, he knows it

And you don't seem like the type to compromise on your vision over just negative "I don't like it so it shouldn't exist" type criticisms. But expect when things get going the usual people will complain it's getting too NTR or we should get the heroines POV instead- and Avar shouldn't be the MC- Avar should just not exist- etc.. That's how the formula goes in this genre(Not to say it's an NTR focus game.. don't think that was ever the goal.. but more that it will exist whether optional or not.).. Honestly if I had the talent to make a game like this- people like that would just make me spiteful. I'd add more polarizing kinks in it to their dismay.. But you have monetization to think about so you also have to accommodate the masses in some way if you want to feel like it was a success. The absolute hardest part of anything is the -being in the right place at the right time.. type marketing. No matter how much passion you put into a game and how quality it becomes due to this.. it's not going to succeed in making $$$ without it being known. And sometimes that takes controversy and taking some hits to dignity in order to really hit.. But i'm a fan of NTR- and unfortunately the rarest perspective type of it... I like the subtle hints and the mysterious change in things. So the blur idea in the camera footage for instance really sounds fun to me if it works the way I imagine. It's a difficult balance to maintain the teasing but not outright showing the scene. But to tease that scene visually you have to put the work into creating the whole scene in the first place so it only makes sense to make it visible eventually-.. perhaps more and more revealing scenes or a way to get rid of the camera malfunctions or simply a toggle whether you want fully avar POV or omniscient pov.. Or even a recollection room with the unedited scenes. The game isn't really set up for lots of direct context of talking to the heroines in person and seeing them on edge or avoiding certain context or acting off in anyway- so showing the gradual fall(if that's planned) might not be simple. But there is the discord-like app so even without seeing the expressions and visual tells that the heroine went through something or is avoiding talking about something.. there is still many hints that can be dropped. Avar seems like the guy who wants everything controlled by him- and for everything to go smoothly at the same time. That's a lot to ask. At the same time he has the ego of not wanting to look like he's giving a fuck- whether he does or not. Likely very hardheaded when it comes to telling him how serious something is.. it would take a lot to budge him when his mind is set. So I can kind of see him ignoring what would be obvious to a more empathetic person much earlier.. for a while. If it's only text- it would probably take a lot for him to finally think "She's acting strange.. I feel like she isn't being honest-" type conversation. But if he fails to build a serious relationship other than fucktoy for his "girlfriend"- type heroine.. I guess it won't exactly hit for the people looking for that more direct NTR. Course those not looking for it will be the ones to complain because we know if anyone has some sexual event other than the MC- it's NTR as far as f95 goes.

2024-05-17 12:53:57 +0000 UTCI understand what you're saying, to be honest it's something I think about a lot on E-Thots too, like "am I becoming too ambitious for my own good?" By asking myself this question often, it helps me to get rid of certain things that are too big to develop at the moment, and to focus on others that I know are within my capabilities. For the moment, everything I talk about on these devlogs IS done, I'm trying not to make any 'false promises' and to remain as factual as possible about the state of the game, so at least we know that it's not just Peter Molyneux-style ambition that's talking, but content that's already available in game. After that, subsequent updates should NORMALLY build on the new foundations laid by this one, so yes , there are a lot of new features here, but it's certain that updates 3 and 4 will arrive much more quickly than this one at least. And for my other game, Roselake's Lobelia, update 2 is almost finished too. At the moment I'm focusing on E-Thots, for a few more months, after which I'll take a few weeks to finish chapter 2 of RL (which will be the final chapter of this one on RPGM), then I'll put 100% into E-Thots until I finish it. And if I can afford it after that, I'll go back to Roselake's Lobelia to make a proper follow-up, which will be a bit like a new game.

Hope you don't burn out on it.. and if you do- that you'll eventually come back to it.. really hope to see this finished one day since it feels like a dream game for me. Having another game that is not complete at the same time too.. but the idea is to focus mainly on this one until it's complete? Or will you be going back and forth?.. This game hits my kinks a lot better- and feels like it's shaping up to be an actual game with fun mechanics rather than a glorified scene viewer.
