As promised, here's my reworked desk/office area
Added 2023-02-07 14:01:00 +0000 UTCBiggest changes at the moment is that my desktop computer is off the ground, which makes it much easier to modify and rework the streaming machine for different camera setups and archival projects.
I've also replaced my home router with a TP-Link VPN Router for doing link aggregation, both to take advantage of my downlink, and to get more bandwidth between my desktop, and NAS. I need to setup a managed switch for that (which I have, but haven't installed yet). The plan is to setup a larger wireless mesh network so I can use the bedroom and kitchen as additional networked work spaces.
I will say that the wifi in my apartment has been a load better, and I have it rewired to give each router/switch/etc. it's own /24. I don't think I need to run iBGP *yet*, and dealing with IPv6 is going to suck, but it also means I potentially take something on the Internet for demostration purposes safely without compromising my home internet.
