I used to play D&D all the time. Been about 20 years since my last game. I found out my neighbor plays regularly. That got me motivated to try a solo adventure from Dungeon Master's Guild. The one I'm doing is "Eight Petals Argent." This is my character, Kriss. She's a level 1 Warlock. I'm not overly familiar with 5th edition. I specialized in Advanced D&D and to some extent 3rd Edition. Yeah, I'm that old. The Warlock class is a bit new to me. Apparently, she can wear leather armor, carry a few darts and two daggers. She owns a wand, not sure what it does yet. She also knows Charm Person, Comprehend Languages and a couple cantrips. The authors say the game plays best with a Ranger, so Kriss will probably die, hopefully not, but if she comes to any peril, I'll render an image. So far, she's swam around some underground crypts and found a bunch of copper pieces and a green slime. Her friends in Waterdeep have convinced her to look for artifacts in the catacombs beneath the city.
