I don't tend to do traditional art like this, but I thought it would be nice to practice (and thought maybe it would look good in my portfolio haha). I tried out three different methods and learned that doing a copic base with colored pencils on top is super nice with dark colors/highly contrasting works.

I also got super sentimental and nostalgic while I was drawing. These were my first impressions of Italy (these pictures being taken in the first three or four days of the trip) and even now when I look back on my time living in Italy, I feel that bit of wander I had back then taking these pictures. And, of course, the immense excitement at finally seeing historical sights was overwhelming.

Fun fact: the Blue Grotto in Capri was a place known by the Ancient Romans. Emperor Tiberius liked it a whole lot.

I couldn't do the water and atmosphere in there justice unfortunately, but I might try again with oil paints!

Also: I'll be posting some NSFW art soon which will be!! Exciting!

Aww thank you so much! I really want to do a lot more environmental stuff honestly--especially for my stories. I'll definitely be working on some for my portfolio :,) Though they're mostly mountainscapes and temples

For a moment, my dumbass didn't realise that this was traditional art...holy hell these are amazing! If you ever have the time to, you should do more of that stuff! Maybe even for your Universe? Would be interesting :)Anyway, I love these, the atmosphere that they have even if it was only practice!
