2025-07-05 21:21:03 +0000 UTCThere are people like Brad in real life who act like that with their pets and it's pretty creepy lol, Smoochum being a humanlike Pokemon kind of makes it worse... So I feel like I should probably bring this up, Smoochum evolves into a Pokemon called Jinx. Jinx is responsible for I think about 3 episodes being banned in the west (one of them only had like a minute of screen time), they were banned because American activists called the Pokemons design racist. Jinx's design is basically... Mr Popo in a long blonde wig and a red dress (due to the controversy it now has purple skin), I can see why some people had issues with it, but it's not what they claim, its design was a mix of a yuki-onna (a Japanese ice demon) and a Japanese fashion trend called Gyaru.
