we haven't seen too much of it in the anime so far, but I think the Pokemon games do a good job with having creepy elements. I mean the Pokedex is full of creepy entries like how one of them will violently beat you to death if it senses strong emotions. They have a few pretty memorable ghost stories in the games as well.
