yeah it's just kind of a thing in this franchise that 10 year olds just go on adventures by themselves to explore their countries lol. They actually even fully acknowledge how dangerous their world can be, one of the recent games, Legends Arceus (a game set around... 150 years in the past when things were a bit more dangerous admittedly) had a character make a joke about how you've proved yourself useful, so they won't have to leave youto die in the wild. Well... I say joke, but they were actually kind of serious lol. You have a smart phone and access to flying taxis in the newer games, so it's kind of less dangerous now? If you disregard the dragons and bears that shoot Kamehameha's out of their mouths of course.
