Lugia has a pretty cool design honestly, it's a very slick and clean look, but it still feels powerful, I do have a bit of a bias since I tend to like water Pokemon. Lugia is one of the two major legendary Pokemon in Gold & Silver (Gen 2 games), it's one of the first truly powerful one we see that can do major damage, in the games it's known as the guardian of the sea and they even mention that with just a flap of its wings it can cause a 40 day long storm. By the way, Ash and James mentioning having seen a Lugia before in the Orange Islands wasn't your bad memory acting up for once lol, that was a reference to "The Power of One", the second Pokemon movie, they rarely reference the movies so I actually forgot they did that here, I might post some of the movie fights in one of the reaction streams if I can, they're fun fights.
