2025-05-19 14:40:58 +0000 UTCI get why people tend to dismiss Powerplex as an idiot, and he 100% killed his wife and kid, but I think recognizing the parallels between him and Mark is important. I also think it's interesting that even though Omni-man killed many more and caused countless people's lives to be upended, he's easier to be forgiven because he was FINALLY able to show remorse and say "I'm sorry" like that undoes what he did on Earth. If any of these villains Mark faces were to ever show remorse would it be seen as a positive if Mark accepted there forgiveness? I dunno it's just an interesting way this show tries to tackle all angles, and since Mark is the protagonist that's flawed on his journey, it'll be interesting to see what happens later on.
