The bells ringing didn't mean shit to Dany. She has definitely decided to rule by fear!

Yea, the acting was amazing!

All the negative stuff aside, I really love the look of terror on Cerseis face, when she slowly realizes that Dany is systematically burning down the whole city, and her plan to hide behind civilians was as useful as Monopoly money in a real store.

I think most acknowledge that the "what" was fine, but the "how" is where it all falls apart. Dany going insane? Sure. But what is the journey? How do we get there? They rushed it and the payoff feels cheap and unearned.

Here is where I probably disagree with most fans, but can anyone really say that they didn’t see this happening? Her entire path getting there was with violence. She burnt people alive, starting in season one. She has burned people, forced people to waste away in a vault, killed all of the leadership of a decentralized nomadic tribe, and created this join or die policy just to name a few of her actions. The reality is that I did see this coming, and I thought that was going to be the conclusion of Dany’s story ark. The reason people fell in love with her is because the atrocities she committed we’re done on people who are also horrible human beings. The only thing is that just because you do terrible things to terrible people doesn’t mean you’re a good guy. If that were the case, then Joseph Stalin is a revered hero. She was a person who people believed that her use of violence was done in the name of righteousness when in reality, her violence was used to extend the scope of her power.
