we're in for some real fun fights coming up! So we actually had another Dragon Quest reference this episode, the tiara that the girl who gave Gomah the third eye took is actually the exact same design as Princess Gwaelin the love interest from Dragon Quest 1, again there's a lot of cool little nods to things Toriyama worked on in the past. I can see why he was so happy working on Daima, he basically got to do whatever he wanted, it has a mix of all the different things he liked, quirky likeable characters (even the villains), his unique style of humour, tons of different vehicles for him to design, great creative fights, and just genuinely a fun feeling adventure that feels like a mix of classic Dragon Ball mixed with the JRPG games he made.
