2025-03-13 21:36:25 +0000 UTCBalon's brother who threw him off the bridge, Euron, is kind of an amalgamation of the 2 brothers that are in the books, aside from the Drowned God priest (who is another brother). One of them is Euron, of course, who is a much more mysterious figure in the books, with dark knowledge and artifacts from the far reaches of the world. The other, Victarion, is a vicious fighter and always obeyed his brother. They kind of combined some of those traits in the show's version of Euron - Victarion's warrior nature with Euron's viciousness and scheming.
