I like the little backstory they gave about the third eye, Dabura was the supreme king of the Demon Realm but he was only briefly in the Buu arc before Buu killed him, so it's nice to have him fleshed out a bit more here. It's not confirmed, but some of the silhouettes of past Demon Lords who used the third eye might be a Dragon Quest reference (the big game series Toriyama was the artist for), because one of them looks suspiciously like Zoma, the big villain for DQ3 who happens to have a third eye just like that one on his helmet, there's actually a lot of little DQ and game references in Daima.
