I don't know if it's intentional or not, but Neva reminds me a lot of Toriyama, an old man who pretends to be senile and forgetful, but is smarter then people realise, he also has Toriyama's style of humour and knows more then he lets on (the little song he sung is actually the first opening to the original Dragon Ball), I really like his character. I hope one day the Namekians can come back to him, like, he's been pretty much alone for thousands of years in the second Demon Realm waiting for the day they can finally come home, Namekians have been through a lot. I really like Arinsu and her little crew, they're the right mix of serious and goofy, and honestly they don't seem like that bad a group, I mean, Arinsu kept Kuu around even after he failed, other villains would have gotten rid of him. It feels like they have a bit of a family dynamic to me with Arinsu like a disappointed mother with Kuu. Kuu and Duu are a fun duo as well and they have really entertaining fighting styles, like being part Buu lets them get really creative with the animation. Oh, by the way, Duu's "N'Cha" greeting is a reference to Arale Chan from the series Dr Slump, the first manga series Toriyama wrote before Dragon Ball, Kuu's way of running with his arms out is also a reference to how Arale runs as well, Dr Slump is still a super popular series in Japan, Funimation just refuses to touch it for some reason, it's a nice little call back to Toriyama's first work.
