Come to think of it I don't think there are any Legendary Pokemon that actually say their name either.

2025-04-21 03:40:58 +0000 UTCyou know I don't think anyone's brought this up yet, but in the games the Pokemon don't actually say their names (outside of Pikachu who does in later games because of the animes influence), they usually just let out a roar based on whatever species they are. At times I wish the anime just did that as well instead lol (basically all the other anime short series and specials they make just use roars as well). The anime does have some exceptions obviously though, usually for larger threats, I mean Charizard didn't say his name, he just roared, you'd probably lose a bit of the intimidation factor if he did just keep screaming Charizard.
