TOASTY! - Game of Thrones 7x5-1

Comments

Dragons in this world like to test people. They know they're physically superior so that's not what they're looking for in riders, friends, etc. - they look for the willpower to stand your ground, and perhaps make them submit in turn. Jon has that, as well as Targaryen blood, unbeknownst to him. He's the most likely candidate to eventually ride one of Dany's dragons in the books, where she has been actively looking for riders for a while now, knowing she can only ride 1.

I love how Bronn is just done with everything XD Randyll: Say what you will about your sister, but she was born here. Me: Uhh Daenarys was also born in Westeros; she was born on Dragonstone, which is an island that belongs to Westeros. Now if you were to say, "say what you will about your sister, but she understands this land better than Dany" then you'd be making a more valid point, there Mr. Tarly. Randyll: You murdered your own father. Me: And you tried to murder your eldest son. Next argumentative fallacy, please! Randyll: You cannot send me to the wall. Me: Uhh dood, your cooperation isn't a factor, especially since you're now a POW. At this point even you know Dany can damn well do whatever she wants with you. Dany: I gave them a choice. Me: No, you gave them an ultimatum. There is a difference! I do admire Dickon's loyalty to his father, I likewise do appreciate that Randyll tried to keep him alive. Likewise, Tyrion is TRYING his best to rell Dany in, but she's letting power get to her head. Cersei will undoubtedly spin this act against The Tarly's as proof that Dany is ruthless. Dany has once again underestimated the power of fear and propaganda. Cersei won't admit it, but you can tell by her body language that she knew Jaime was speaking facts. She knows she errored by accusing Tyrion now. She won't admit it, but she knows she screwed up. I get the maesters skepticism, I do not blame them in the slightest, but I likewise appreciate that the Arch Maester is listening to Sam and is meeting him in the middle. He knows Sam is not a liar nor is he fanciful.
