I gotta admit, this Chikorita is one of the cutesy Pokemon that can whip some ass!

I completely forgot how stubborn and abit of a loner Chikorita was at the start of the season. If you notice that kiss she gave Ash that loner streak ain't gonna last o.o

2025-04-11 13:45:36 +0000 UTCI like Chikorita, she has a cute design, it's simple but works really well as a grass starter Pokemon. I actually found out recently that apparently people really don't like Chikorita or its evolution lines design as a starter Pokemon, that's just kind of odd to me. Gen 2 (Johto), is when they let you choose either a male or female protagonist to play as, so Chikorita was one of the first starters designed to appeal to girls, like, before they evolve starter pokemon usually are cute, but they usually grow into something stronger and more intimidating looking, like Charizard. Chikorita does look stronger when it evolves, but stays kind of cute and friendly looking.
