Yeah I do have to admit that Leela was pretty tasteless in this film, but it does reinforce the fact that Leela's feelings for Fry are undeniable at this point. LaBarbara on the other hand, I don't even know why Hermes is fighting for her.

Lars being Fry is one of the greatest moments in the franchise for me, because you hate him the entire movie X you want fry and Leela to end up together, but then you find out that he did. Lars is the mature version of Fry. A version of Fry who mentally matured and became the man Leela always wanted out of Fry (Which we knew because of the Parallel World and Worms episodes). Lars also helps push our Fry to a higher level of maturity (Yes this was something I had learned from watching a YouTube video a few years ago. Don’t remember who) 2. People say Lars ruins some continuity but put this in perspective. Lars spent a decade out at sea, abandoning his friend and family. Considering Seymour was 15 (According to the episode) Lars abandoned Seymour at the age of 5. He also was gone from his family for a decade. 3. Never noticed this until rewatch, but the Time Code itself is a paradox as it comes from Lars. It is destroyed by Nibbler destroying the Paradox according to the rules of Time Travel 4. (Obvious one) As we saw in the first episode the world gets destroyed by aliens a few times. Apparently it was Bender. 5. Bender starts his countdown at 7. He delays explosion for a few seconds so I figure it is a 10 count and he just starts at 7 to be an ass. 6. During the Song against Santa Fry makes a comment about Leela loving Fry if he was like Lars 7. Torgos Executive Powder was really just the crew take their shots at Fox. Used it so often for stupid tasks (Which were funny).
