The Demon Realm was just so much fun, I love all of these characters, and really hope we get to see them properly again, I can completely see why Toriyama had a blast working on Daima, it just feels so fun and free. (I would like to get some figures of Arinsu, Kuu and Duu when they come out). Daima probably is setting thing up for the future after Super, there's too many hints and world building for there not to be. What they'll do now that Toriyama has passed we don't know, the rights passed onto his son Sasuke, but they're currently trying to work out what the plans are now behind the scenes. The extra third eyes probably aren't a teaser for a future arc, it's just a gag, like, Daima is very inspired by Dragon Quest and other JRPG games Toriyama made, so finding those extra eyes is probably just a joke reference to how in games you can find super powerful weapons in stores after beating the game. It's honestly the perfect way for the last Dragon Ball series with Toriyama's full involvement to end... keep it light and end it on a joke, that's how he always liked to write his series so it's a perfect swansong for his legacy, I'll genuinely miss him, Toriyama's work has genuinely been a huge part of my life.

2025-03-19 20:47:28 +0000 UTCPrediction here is that the evil eyes will return for Dragon Ball Super. Which makes sense because Daima is a prelude to the Super storyline with the God. Also the Dragon Balls are made by Namekians who we learned are extensions of Demons. So I think at some point we'll have to merge it all under the current Super storyline. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any hope of Dragon Ball Super returning anytime soon. There is a legal war between Shuiesha and Toei on who owns Dragon Ball IP now that Toriyama's dead and his successor Toyotaro cannot make any new chapters until this political legal war is settled smh.
