One not so subtle difference is the fact that his sister doesn't wanna fuck him

The strenght training is the same what Saitama did daily, so in 3 years Sung Jinwoo is going to be invinsible!!
(gets penalty)...or not, if he keeps skipping them
-guess he is going with it after all.

Time to talk about some differences, for one thing the sister checking of Sung scene wasn't as good as the scene in the Light Novel. I don't completely remember it (it was a long time ago) but I do remember his sister having a much more emotional response, crying due to almost losing her brother. This is probably done to make the scene shorter which is a shame since it was a really nice scene.
The second difference is that the anime leaves out a somewhat important scene of Sung going online and posting about what happened to him in order to find out if this has ever happened before. The online people treat him like a troll which is enough to confirm to him that at least online, he's the first to experience this Level Up thing.

What's interesting to me watching the Anime, is seeing the difference between Korean and Japanese storytelling. There's very subtle differences that I sometimes notice between the two.

Its important to highlight that the series is saying what he's going through with this game system isn't what anyone else goes through. Hunters have their awakenings and possible second awakenings, but he didn't awaken again, hence its like two separate systems clashing with each other. The monsters inside dungeons aren't like video game npc's, you can't stab them in the arm with a really strong knife and expect them to die, but his evolution acts as a game level up would, so its an interesting little disconnect.
Also, and i know you don't usually do this, but genuinely feel free to pause on some of the 'game' windows that pop up. Some of the information isn't always reiterated by Jinwoo, and it'd be way easier just to have you pause so you can read it rather than scramble to try and catch it all before it goes off

Looks like you're starting to get into it. Yep. Solo Leveling ramps up pretty quick, and it hasn't even hit its stride yet.

TBF to Jinwoo, he's gotten bodied by everything in dungeons. Can't fault him for the full defense at the start. Maybe he should take the Overly Cautious Hero's approach and just keep training until he one shots everything.
Also. something to keep in mind is that the monsters dont have hp bars. Effectively, they are like you and me. Hit our arm and we can keep going. Headshots though are a one and done. Of course if you dont have enough power you aren't getting past their innate defense and vice versa. Find the weak spot and you can kill anything roughly around your power.

The obesity epidemic would be solved very quickly if they made the daily quest an mandatory app on your phone or something. Either you exercise every day or you get sent to Dune to play with the sand worms. Everyone would either be fit as hell or dead.
