"Babysitter" Wanted - Part Two

Since you asked for it and seem to be just as excited about "Babysitter" as I am, here you go! I'll admit, Part Two isn't as exciting as Part One, but things will get fun and interesting again soon. Part Three is already in the works, but fair warning, I'll probably post at least another story or two before I post it.

If you have any ideas/scenarios you'd like to see in this story or any others, please share! I'm always open to ideas :-)

Without further ado, Part Two...

“Babysitter” Wanted

Part Two

After having struggled to park Daniel Reed's amazing Range Rover and “successfully” extracting himself from behind its wheel, huge belly still almost fully exposed, Caleb waddled down the hall to he and Tommy's apartment. A door away, he further slowed his awkward gait till he came to a stop.

OK…” he said quietly as he took his hands from his lower back and placed them on the sides of his still rocking and sloshing belly to steady it. “I can do this… I…” he trailed off, totally unsure.

Needless to say, a lot had changed in just over the course of an hour. A whole fucking lot. So much, it was still difficult to comprehend.

Facing Tommy wasn't going to be fun or easy, but at least maybe it would help Caleb come to terms with everything.

The money, he reminded himself yet again. Just talk about all the money I'm going to earn. He won't be able to be mad then, he told himself of his boyfriend, who he suddenly worried might really not take the shock he was about to receive well, and decide to leave him.

Well, then at least I'll have enough to pay for a place of my own, Caleb silently reasoned as he pulled out his key.

As soon as he opened the door to their apartment, he smelled Thai. He also heard the distinct theme song from “Bridgerton” playing, which made him smirk. Tommy was a big fan of the show, while Caleb was not. He often teased his boyfriend about his affinity for the girly rom-com, so Tommy only watched it in private.

Oh, shit!” Tommy yelped when he heard the front door close.

Immediately, the TV turned off. Caleb's boyfriend coughed and cleared his throat. “That was, uh… quick. Quicker than I expected…” he added under his breath. “How'd everything go?”

“Um…” Caleb said as he waddled into the kitchen as quickly and as quietly as he could. “It went…

“Were they nice?” Tommy asked, still from the couch.

“They're alright. What they really are is loaded.

 “Oh?

 “Yeah…

“How many kids?”

 “Um… Six.”

Six?” Tommy repeated. “Woof! Well I guess that explains the pay,” he said as he started to stand.

Wait!” Caleb suddenly shouted. “What're you doing?!

“Getting more food. I only had a little ‘cause I was waiting for you.”

“Stay! I-I'll get it for you!

“Well then come get my plate.”

Oh, um… I, uh…

“What's wrong with you, babe?” Tommy chuckled as he stood. “Why're you acting weird?”

 “I am not!

“Yes, you are,” he nodded as he looked at Caleb through the cutout in the wall over the bar counter dividing the kitchen from the living room. “And you're being defensive, which is how you always get when you're up to something…”

Because of the counter, Tommy wasn't able to see Caleb's big surprise yet. From the chest up, his boyfriend looked the same. From the chest down, was now a very different story though…

I'm not up to anything!” Caleb insisted. “I just… There's just something I need to tell you.

“OK, so tell me,” Tommy nodded as he walked around the couch.

Stay there!” He shouted.

Tommy frowned. “Oh. You didn't get the job, did you?

“Oh, I got it…” Caleb nervously chuckled as he quickly glanced down at his pregnant self. “It just… It wasn't the job I was expecting.”

“Why? Because they have six kids?”

 “Something along those lines…

But you still took it?

 “I… did.”

So what's the issue?

Caleb closed his eyes for a second and sighed. It was now or never. It was time to rip the bandaid off.

The issue is that it wasn't the kind of babysitting job I was expecting. It's…”

“Were they looking for more of a live-in situation?” Tommy asked.

Caleb grunted. “Yeah, you could say that!

“Well did you tell them about me?”

 “I did.”

 “Are they cool with it?”

 “With it?

“With me coming over from time to time?” Tommy asked. “More than that, ideally,” he nodded.

“They seemed fine with you, though we didn't talk much about us,” Caleb shook his head and sighed again. “Everything just… It all happened so fast, I didn't have a chance to…

What all happened so fast?

 “Tommy…

“You've heard of baby transfers, right?”

 Tommy frowned. “Yeah…

“Well the people who take the babies, they're called…” Caleb hesitated. “Babysitters.”

The apartment went silent for the next several seconds, during which Tommy just blankly stared at his boyfriend. He blinked repeatedly and opened his mouth a few times, but nothing came out his first few attempts.

No,” he finally said. “Caleb, no!” He groaned. “Tell me you didn't…

“I did,” Caleb nodded. “But I had to! I already signed that stupid contract!

Tommy groaned and rolled his eyes before fortunately steeling himself a bit. “How bad is it?”

“It's bad, Tommy.”

 “How bad?

“Come see for yourself,” Caleb said quietly.

Jesus…” Tommy muttered as he walked from the living room into the kitchen. “Jesus!” He shouted this time, when he saw his boyfriend in all his new, fecund glory. “Caleb! What the…

I know it's bad, OK?! It's REALLY bad, but what was I supposed to do?!” He shouted.

“Oh, I dunno?! Maybe not get pregnant?!” Tommy shouted back.

I signed a contract! And everything… It all just happened before I realized what was going on, and…

How many?

 “Um…

Six.

 “What?” Tommy said quietly.

Six!

 “But I…

All six are in here!” Caleb nodded as he placed his hands back on the sides of his pregnancy.

Jesus Christ!

“The pay, Tommy… They tripled it!”

Oh…

Yeah!” Caleb nodded. “That's good, right? Like really good!” He nodded some more.

“Yeah, but why did they go with you?” Tommy asked.

“They thought I had…”

This kind of babysitting experience,” he realized.

Yeah.

“OK…” he sighed. “So what? How long, a couple months?”

“I wish, but no,” Caleb shook his head before he explained everything to Tommy.

Over the course of the awkward conversation, they both took a seat at the kitchen table, Caleb first, now having to do so to the side to accommodate his pregnancy. Tommy drank two beers as he mostly listened, though he had plenty of questions… Caleb wished he could have a beer, but for six obvious reasons, he could no longer imbibe.

Well…” Tommy sighed once Caleb had finished. “I see why they said I can't knock you up now!

“Ugh, Tommy, what am I gonna do?

“It's a little late to be asking that, Caleb,” he shook his head.

“Well what're you gonna do?”

Whaddaya mean?

“I mean, are you…” Caleb hesitated. “Are you furious, disgusted?” He shrugged. “Are you gonna… leave?

Tommy immediately scoffed. “No, I'm not gonna leave!

 “You're not?

 “No! I'm just… surprised, OK?

I am too…

He scoffed again. “I bet you are, Mr. Mom!

 Caleb frowned. “That's not funny.

“Yeah, it is!” Tommy laughed before standing and going to get another beer and a fresh plate. “You hungry?”

“Starving!” Caleb groaned as he suddenly realized how hungry he was.

Tommy fixed him a plate. A big one. As soon as he took his first bite, Caleb got sauce on his belly. He was going to have to learn how to deal with such a big obstruction, that unfortunately, was only going to get bigger over the next nine months.

Well…” Tommy sighed again as he sat back down. “I totally didn't see unplanned, sextuplet pregnancy in our cards this year, if ever!” He chuckled and shook his head. “But at least you got yourself a job!

“Not funny, Tommy,” Caleb grumbled through his latest mouthful.

“You're gonna have to get used to the jokes, babe,” his boyfriend chuckled back as he loaded up his fork. “‘Cause humor is gonna play a big role in me getting used to all this. Fair?” He asked before filling his mouth.

Fair,” Caleb quietly agreed.

It wouldn't be easy, not that much of what he was going to have to go through and experience over the coming months would be, but he could learn to put up with an extra helping of his boyfriend's sometimes stinging humor, if he had to. The important thing was that thankfully, Tommy was staying.

*****

All things considered, Caleb slept surprisingly well. He was already a strict side sleeper, so he didn't have to make any changes to his sleeping position, yet anyway…

For a few brief moments, he actually forgot he was pregnant, but then he opened his eyes and saw his huge belly. Immediately after, he felt it. Caleb also felt the urge to pee… Yay.

Tommy was still asleep when he returned to the bedroom. After awkwardly easing himself back into bed, sitting up against the headboard this time, Caleb grabbed his phone and set it and his hands atop his belly. While he couldn't deny his new, makeshift “desk” wasn't convenient, he still wished he didn't have it.

Caleb pulled up the contract he'd electronically signed and finally read over it in its entirety. He wasn't a legal scholar or anything, but to him it appeared airtight.  There was even a clause forbidding “subletting” the pregnancy, unless it was deemed medically necessary by the Reeds doctor of choice. In short, their six babies were going to be staying inside Caleb for the foreseeable future, just as the contract outlined.

After reading over the contract and getting the unfortunate confirmation that he was definitely stuck “babysitting,” Caleb started looking for clothes. Paternity clothes. He had no idea what size he was, but needed something to wear to the mall, where he could visit an actual store, so he picked a few giant t-shirts to hold him over. During all this, the babies remained calm, possibly still asleep. Their babysitter was glad for this because he was still getting used to feeling them move.

So was Tommy… The night before, when they went to bed, Tommy finally dared to touch his belly. Almost immediately, the boys responded to his touch, which he thought was very cool, while Caleb thought it was very weird. As much as he didn't like it, he let Tommy and the boys “play” and “get to know each other” for a while, trying to be a good sport.

T-shirts ordered and set to be delivered later that afternoon, Caleb heaved himself out of bed again. He didn't have anything planned, but he was hungry, so it was time to get his first full day pregnant, started. Yay…

He kept breakfast simple, but big. Without yet having been told, the twenty-one year old already knew he was going to have to seriously up his caloric intake. Caleb made himself six scrambled eggs, six pieces of toast and bacon, which he downed in a flash.

Twenty minutes after finishing, he suddenly felt terribly sick. Caleb broke out into a cold sweat and felt very nauseous, so he waddled to the bathroom as fast as he could, knowing he was about to puke.

Morning sickness?” Tommy asked from the doorway through a yawn.

I guess…” Caleb groaned from down on the floor, where he was kneeling in front of the toilet. “I didn't think I'd… get it.”

“You should probably go see a doctor to learn more about your, um… condition,” Tommy suggested.

My condition…” Caleb grumbled as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. “Ugh… Can you help me up?

You sure you're done?

He nodded. “I feel…” he started to say before suddenly puking again.

Caleb hated throwing up. Needless to say, his first day of babysitting wasn't getting off to such a great start after all.

Fifteen minutes later, Caleb was back in bed and hungry again, but didn't dare try to refill his stomach. Not necessarily wanting, but needing to know more about his “condition,” he asked Tommy to go get him the envelope Melanie had given him, found the doctor's business card and called the office to schedule an appointment.

Oh, Caleb!” The receptionist who answered warmly greeted him upon hearing his name. “We've been waiting on your call!”

 “Oh?

“Mrs. Reed said you'd be calling to schedule an appointment with Dr. Williams. When are you available?”

“When is Dr. Williams available?” Caleb asked. “I'd like to be seen by…”

Him.

 “Him, as soon as possible.”

“Certainly! His day is almost entirely open today. Could you be here in an hour?” The receptionist asked.

“Sure, I… Oh wait,” Caleb suddenly groaned, remembering he didn't have anything to wear. “I might be available later this afternoon, but I'm not sure what time. I'm waiting on an important package.”

“Of course. Well why don't you just call back when you're available and I'm sure we'll be able to fit you in.”

 “Wow, OK.”

“You sound surprised?” The receptionist chuckled.

“Because I am!” Caleb chuckled back. “Whenever I need to see my doctor, I usually have to make an appointment days in advance, even if I'm sick.”

“You're not sick now, are you?

“Does presumed morning sickness count?” He groaned.

“In your condition, no!” Another chuckle.

Didn't think so…

They ended the call with Caleb promising to call back once he was available. As he set his phone down, he suddenly started to feel queasy again and prayed he wasn't about to puke again. The twenty-one year old closed his eyes, placed his hands gently on his belly and focused on his breathing, rather than all the extra saliva suddenly flooding his mouth.

Pregnancy sucks! He thought to himself. Morning sickness really sucks! I hope it doesn't last long…

Caleb wasn't a good “patient,” especially not when throwing up was involved. Again, all he could do was hope when he saw Dr. Williams, he'd be told he wouldn't have to deal with this very unpleasant aspect of his “condition” for too much longer. One morning of sickness in, and he was already over it!

By the time he started feeling better, hopefully for the rest of the day, Tommy was ready to leave for work. He came over and kissed Caleb on the forehead, making it a point to avoid his mouth.

“You sure you're gonna be OK?” He asked.

“No,” Caleb grumbled.

“Want me to call in and work from home?”

“I'll be fine.”

“Want me to come to the appointment with you?”

“I'll let you know when it is, if the package arrives on time, then we'll go from there.”

“Sounds good,” Tommy agreed as he leaned in for another forehead kiss.

*****

The rest of the morning and early afternoon passed relatively uneventfully. Come lunchtime, Caleb was starving, so he made himself three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, he prayed he'd be able to keep down. Fortunately, he did. His morning sickness seemed to literally be just that, thankfully.

He kept checking his phone for updates on his package. He'd included specific instructions that it be delivered to his door, and made sure to include the security code to his building so the driver would be able to do so. A few minutes after seeing his package was two stops away, Caleb refreshed the page and received notification it had been delivered.

He sighed in frustration that so far, this had been the highlight of his day. With a loud grunt, the twenty-one year old hefted himself off the couch and waddled to the front door.

There was no package there. Making sure to keep the rest of himself hidden behind the door, Caleb stuck his head out and looked up and down the hall, just in case the package had been left in front of the wrong apartment. Seeing nothing, he closed the door and checked his phone again. As soon as he looked at the notification again, he groaned.

Despite his instructions, the package had been delivered to the mail room. The mail room two buildings away

God damn it!” He groaned. “Why is it so hard for people to fucking read?!

While he most definitely should’ve, Caleb thought he’d been through enough recently that he didn’t need to include himself in that category. He had every intention of very poorly rating this delivery, but now, he had bigger fish to fry.

Now, he had two choices. He could either wait for Tommy to come home and go get the much needed package for him, or he could risk the literally exposed waddle to the mail room and go get it himself. It was a miracle Caleb hadn’t been spotted waddling inside the evening prior, so he didn’t want to push his luck. Neither choice was great, but a decision needed to be made.

Now more than ever, despite still technically not having anything to wear that would fit (in his possession,) Caleb really did want to be seen by Dr. Williams as soon as possible. Again, he knew he’d lucked out the night before and that sooner or later, his neighbors were going to see him and he’d have some awkward explaining to do, but he really did not want the first time anyone else saw his belly, to be in all its “glory.”

Whatever, fuck it,” he said aloud.

He was going to make the trek. First though, the new babysitter had to make one back to his bedroom to check the closet for something, anything that could offer more coverage than the black tank turned crop top he still had on from yesterday.

He and Tommy’s one bedroom apartment wasn’t the biggest, but their closet was. At least Caleb had considered it quite large, till he entered it pregnant… Now, as he waddled in, already, the sides of his bloated belly came within a few inches of the clothing hanging on the racks.

Since the twenty-one year old was entirely familiar with his own wardrobe and therefore knew nothing he owned would come any closer to even somewhat adequately covering him, he skipped his side of the closet and turned to the left to face Tommy’s. As soon as he did, his bare belly pushed against and into the clothes on the lower rack, forcing him to take a step back.

Yeah, the next nine months were gonna be fucking great…

The money, Caleb reminded himself yet again.

While his amended salary had helped soften the blow of his literally immense fuck up with Tommy, overall, the constant self reminders had yet to help the babysitter.

Pregnancy aside, Caleb wasn’t a tiny guy. He as 5’11” and till less than twenty-four hours ago, had weighed 175-180 lbs. Tommy was three inches taller, and before his boyfriend had unintentionally contracted himself out to be a damn incubator, had had a good thirty or so pounds on him, so most of his shirts were XLs, compared to Caleb’s mostly medium sized ones.

Going up two sizes helped, but not as much as he hoped. Caleb ended up going up three sizes, into the biggest shirt on Tommy’s side of the closet, a t-shirt his boyfriend had worn frequently a couple years ago, back when he’d been on the football team and had therefore been at his biggest and heaviest. Now that Tommy had dropped some muscle mass and overall weight, the shirt was loose on him when he wore it, so Caleb figured it would be a good fit for him.

As it turned out, not so much…

He waddled to the bathroom so he could check himself out in the mirror. As soon as he saw himself, Caleb groaned.

Tommy’s tent of a t-shirt looked as tight as it felt (at least around the middle,) and still left more than the lowest third of his pregnancy out on display. It was a definite improvement over the tank top, but again, not as good as he’d been hoping for.

Not that he hadn’t already, but now, Caleb really realized just how big he was. He didn’t want to, but it made him think about just how big he was eventually going to get. Fuck…

While the mail room wasn't too far away and thankfully, he had the strength to tote around his new belly, the twenty-one year old was still adjusting to his new burden, so he knew his trek was going to take longer than it previously would've. Till yesterday, Caleb wouldn't have had a problem heading over there shirtless, but not anymore. As such, he lumbered back into the closet to rifle through Tommy's hoodies for hopefully, fingers crossed, just a little more coverage.

No such luck. Caleb tried two on, but they didn't cover any more of his belly than Tommy's biggest t-shirt did and somehow, only made it look bigger. Damn it!

Lemme just get this the hell over with…” he groaned as he headed back for the front door. “God, I hope the shirts I got are big enough!

This time, when he opened the door, somehow, for the briefest of moments, Caleb managed to forget about his belly. To his credit, he'd had it for less than a day, so despite how fucking prevalent it was, yeah, he was still adjusting…

Anyway, as a result, he nailed himself right in the orb with the edge of the door. As a result of his, all three of the boys started nailing him, kicking, punching and otherwise physically protesting the rude encroachment on what was undeniably their territory.

I'm… sorry!” Caleb winced as he placed his left hand atop the quaking mound.

While he'd yet to feel the babies move this much, already, he never wanted to again. At least not till he'd gotten somewhat more accustomed to their presence, if he ever did…

The new babysitter let out a sigh of relief when he made it to and inside the elevator without having been spotted. Now, all he had to do was make it two floors down, then out of his building and two buildings down (and back,) and then, so long as the shirts he ordered “fit,” he'd start to feel better.

But again, no such luck…

Not long after it started descending, the elevator slowed and then came to a stop on the second floor. Damn it!

Fuck me…” Caleb muttered as he tugged at the front of Tommy's “oversized” tee.

As he waited for the doors to open, he hoped that the person standing on the other side of them would be a neighbor he didn't know. Someone new to the building, who would yes, more than likely still be surprised by the size of his belly, but not by its sudden appearance.

But no, of course it wasn't, because why would Caleb's sudden bad streak of luck come to an end now, when it was really just getting going?

When the elevator doors opened, standing there on the second floor wasn't the stranger the twenty-one year old had been hoping for, it was someone he knew very well. Well as they knew each other, when the other man saw who was occupying the elevator, and how he looked now, he looked like he'd never seen him before…

Hi, Miguel,” Caleb said, as he offered his downstairs neighbor his best (sheepish) smile.

C-Ca-Caleb?!” Miguel stuttered.

The one and only!” The twenty-one year old chuckled before sighing and shaking his head as he continued to toy with the hem of Tommy's tee. “Well obviously, not so much anymore…

W-what… What the fuck, dude?!” The twenty-seven year old Latino stammered out in evident shock.

“I…” Caleb started to say, but then the elevator doors started to close.

As soon as entering the elevator, after pressing the button for the first floor, he'd gone and leaned against the back wall. Now, he “rushed” forward to hit the button to keep the doors from closing. Still unaccustomed to his new mass, Caleb lost his balance in the process.

Thankfully, Miguel ended up catching him. The two of them stood there for the next several seconds, Miguel's hands on Caleb's unfamiliar, new belly, his bulging eyes locked on it.

What the fuck, dude?!” He said again, still staring at the orb.

Caleb looked down at it too. In all the “commotion,” Tommy's shirt had ridden up, now exposing just over half of it.

I, uh…” he said as he “quickly” stepped back and adjusted his shirt. “I, um…” he tried again. “So I finally got a new… job,” he chuckled.

“What?” Miguel said as he stepped into the elevator and moved to stand as far away from his fecund neighbor as he could.

“I got a new job,” Caleb repeated.

Miguel scoffed. “What you got is pregnant! Like due any second, pregnant! Overnight!” He shouted.

“That’s the job,” the twenty-one year old nodded. “I’m a babysitter now. We, uh… We carry the babies while mom or dad, mom in this case, do, um… Whatever it is they need or want to do,” he shrugged.

“I’ve heard of pregnancy transfers,” Miguel nodded as the elevator started to descend again. “But I… I mean, I know you’ve been looking for a job for awhile now, but…

“There was some… confusion during the onboarding process,” Caleb sheepishly admitted as he continued fiddling with his hem.

His downstairs neighbor kept his still bulging eyes on him as he shook his head. “Looks like you won’t be babysitting too long… What is it, twins? Due soon? Mom just needed a few days break?

Yeah, not exactly,” he shook his head before filling Miguel in on the details of his new job.

Damn, man!” The twenty-seven year old shook his head as he and Caleb (and his occupants) stood in the lobby, finishing their conversation. “That’s… It’s just… Wow!

Yeah, pretty cool, huh?” Caleb grunted.

“So you’re gonna get bigger than you already are over the next nine months?”

“I assume so,” he nodded. “Three of the babies, the boys, are six months along, but the other three, the girls, are… brand new, I guess you could say, so, yeah,” he nodded some more. “I’m probably gonna get bigger.”

“So in nine months, you’ll have six babies all nine months in size?” Miguel asked.

Yup.

Shit… That means you’re gonna at least double in size, dude!

God, I hope not!” Caleb scoffed. “There’s no way I…

Do the math, man!

I’d really rather not…” he rolled his eyes.

It makes sense!” Miguel insisted.

Please, stop!” Caleb groaned.

His neighbor held up his hand. “Hey, at least you got a job, right? And a good paying one at that, but…” he shrugged as he trailed off for a second. “Look on the brightside,” Miguel suggested. “Whaddaya have to do but just sit around, eat, grow and keep the babies safe?” He shrugged again.

“I guess.”

 “Sounds pretty cush.”

 “I guess,” Caleb repeated.

Still…” Miguel chuckled as he shook his head. “I woulda had to be desperate to take a gig like that!”

“I didn't mean to,” his younger neighbor reminded. “Damn fine print!

“There's a little more to it than that, dude. You gotta be careful when you sign contracts!”

“Yeah, I know that now!” Caleb rolled his eyes.

“It's kinda funny,” Miguel chuckled again. “The next time I saw you, I was gonna ask if you wanted to go for another run like we did last week, but…

Caleb laughed. “I don't see that happening again anytime soon, but I'll go for a waddle with you, if you're willing to be seen with me!”

Promise you'll wear something that fits a little better?

“God, I hope so!” He rolled his eyes again. “I'm on my way to the mail room to get some shirts I ordered now,” he said as he started waddling towards the door.

Miguel grunted as he watched him.

What?” Caleb asked.

“You went from being able to run eight miles last week, to barely being able to walk!”

I'm still adjusting, OK?

“Fair enough,” Miguel said as he “hurried” around the younger man to get the door for him. “I'm gonna hold you to the waddle.”

Yeah, OK…

“I'm serious!” He nodded as he slowly walked beside Caleb since his car was in the same direction. “I'm gonna make sure you keep active so hopefully, you'll still be mobile when you double in size!” He couldn't help but laugh.

Caleb groaned and shook his head. “Thanks, I guess?

“You're welcome!” Miguel laughed as he stepped off the curb and headed for his car. “I'll see the seven of you later, but hopefully, a little less of you!”

Caleb flipped him off over his shoulder.

One awkward neighbor/friend encounter down, still many more to go. Yay.

*****

The cheap t-shirts Caleb had ordered fit better than Tommy's old one, but not by much. He chose to wear the black one, since the dark color was known to be slimming, but apparently not on preggos, like he now was. The shirt “fit,” but it was tight, and his belly stretched the thin material so much, it became semi-transparent, especially around the front of his belly. It also still left the lower quarter of the orb exposed, but that was an improvement, and was going to have to do for now.

He called Dr. Williams’ office again and told the receptionist he was now available. Caleb was surprised when she told him to just head in “whenever was convenient for him,” but after ending the call, he thought about it and realized that if the Reeds could afford their own pregnancy-transfer equipment and to pay him so well, then they could definitely afford a doctor who was extra accommodating.

Even in his slightly better fitting, dark shirt, the new babysitter still thought he looked like a goddamn blimp as he waddled back outside to Daniel's Range Rover, probably because he did. At least now he had a hot ride to drive around, that he actually fit in, for the time being, anyway. Only problem was, the twenty-one year old had acquired it due to a “condition” he very much didn't like.

There was a chance Caleb would feel better after being seen by Dr. Williams and learning more about said physical condition, but it was slim. Just about as slim as the first paternity wear he ventured out into the world, ended up being…

Are you fucking kidding me?!” Caleb groaned as he waddled around to the driver's side of the Range and saw he might have a problem.

A problem of his own making, which he should've preemptively considered when parking, but to be fair, the spot to his left had been open at the time, and he had plenty else to worry about (and still did.) The car now parked next to him, ironically, an older Civic, similar to his own, was parked within the lines of its spot, it was just parked a little closer to the one on the right. Still somehow less than twenty-four hours ago (not now, seemingly in another life,) this wouldn't have been an issue, but now, Caleb feared it might be, as if he needed anything else to worry about!

He braced himself against the Range's hood and inhaled through his nose as he further assessed the situation.

It's OK…” he said as he exhaled. “You can do this!” He resolutely nodded as he mentally noted he definitely needed to be more mindful of the parking spots he chose going forward.

Moving his left hand to the Rover's left fender, Caleb was super cautious as he stepped off the curb since he couldn't see his feet. Like he and Tommy's apartment, the spots in the lot weren't too big, but since he'd yet to fully gauge his size, much to his relief, he still fit between the two vehicles. As was the case in his closet though, the sides of his bulbous belly didn't have much clearance.

Woof!” He huffed once he'd closed the door. “Unnnghh!” He grunted when it hit the left side of his belly.

Daniel's Range Rover was big. It fit its owner, who was big as well. While it presently better accommodated its newest user more than his own compact vehicle did, even though the Rover was a tank, so now was Caleb, who was already pushing the capacity of its interior dimensions.

Fortunately, there was a little something he could do about that. The prior evening, the twenty-one year old hadn't bothered making any adjustments to Daniel's seating position before leaving his mansion as again, he'd had (more than) enough on his mind. Now though, Caleb not only had the time, but the desire to make himself as comfortable in the luxurious vehicle as possible, so he spent the next couple minutes adjusting the seat and steering wheel to better (but still not perfectly) situate himself.

Once he had, Caleb linked his phone, then backed out of his spot, totally in awe of the Range's incredible camera system. In this vehicle, he was surrounded by a plethora of leather, fully digital screens, and monitoring and assistive systems designed to keep him comfortable, happy, safe, and easily headed to his next destination. Back in his old Civic, all Caleb had been surrounded by was a lot of cheap plastic, faded and stained fabric, and metal that probably should've been much thicker than it was.

Daniel input the address for Dr. Williams’ office and headed off. As he drove, he kept trying not to rest his elbows on his belly, but there was nowhere else to put them unless he held them up and stuck them awkwardly out to the sides.

This babysitting gig was forcing him to adjust to just about everything. Yes, it was only day one, but Caleb couldn't believe how much had changed… Yesterday, he'd been a handsome, fit and toned, recent college graduate, looking for a job. Today, he was a “babysitter,” six months pregnant with three boys, and one day pregnant with three girls. He was seven people in one and already looked due any day now with a large set of twins.

Yes, the money he was making was good, no, great, but needless to say, he still felt quite conflicted. Caleb was so thankful Tommy had quickly gotten on board. If he hadn't, well at least now he didn't have to think about that.

Dr. Williams' office was located in a large and swanky medical building. As he looked for a spot, Caleb was mindful of which one he selected. As he circled the lot, he saw an open spot near the building, that was notably wider than others. There was a sign in front of it, so he assumed it was reserved, but fortunately, before he passed it by, Caleb read it.

Reserved for Patients of Dr. Williams

Sweet!” Caleb grinned as he pulled in.

A minute later, he was waddling towards the building. As he did,the twenty-one year old kept tugging at his tee, trying to get it to cover more of his belly, unfortunately, without success. As he continued fruitlessly tugging anyway, Caleb realized that soon, another person was going to see his belly in all its glory. Really see it.

He physically shuddered as he tried to imagine what his first prenatal exam was going to be like. Caleb wasn't a fan of doctors in general, and therefore avoided seeing his own unless absolutely necessary. Only “one day” pregnant, given the number of children now under his care and their rather unusual age difference, the new babysitter already knew that more likely than not, he and Dr. Williams were going to be seeing a lot of each other.

“You must be Caleb!” He was warmly greeted by the receptionist as he waddled into Dr. Williams’ office. “I'm Jessica.”

“I am,” he smiled. “Thanks again for fitting me in.”

“No problem,” Jessica smiled back. “Anytime you need to see or speak with Dr. Williams, just give us a call. He's good friends with the Reeds, so we'll always make time for you.”

Good friends with the Reeds… That explained a little more, but didn't necessarily make Caleb feel any better. Still, he smiled and nodded.

“Is there any paperwork I need to fill out?” He asked.

“Nope, you're good!” Jessica said as she stood. “The only thing you need to do is follow me!”

Caleb smiled and nodded again as he waddled around the desk and followed her through a door, deeper into the office, which was nice. It was much nicer than his doctor's office, which needed an update and always smelled faintly of sick, whereas Dr. Williams’ office smelled like a luxury spa, not that Caleb had ever been to one, but he imagined, anyway.

“You'll be in here today,” Jessica pointed to the first door on her left. “There's a gown on the bed. Please, take everything off and…” she suddenly paused and shook her head. “Why am I telling you all this? You know the drill, right?” She laughed as Caleb waddled into the exam room.

Um…

“Dr. Williams will be in shortly,” she said before closing the door.

Needless to say, no, Caleb did not know the drill. He still knew dangerously little about his condition, which he realized as he started taking his shirt off, that he needed to admit to Dr. Williams, but could he? The doctor was friends with the Reeds. Good friends, according to Jessica…

What if he told them what Caleb told him? Was he allowed to? If he did, would the Reeds cancel their contact and sue him or something? Fuck!

Ugh… What was he going to do now?

Caleb still hadn't made a decision by the time he'd undressed and put on the gown, which actually fit him and was a lot nicer than any of the other medical gowns he'd donned in the past, yet he felt even more ridiculous in it than he had his ill-fitting shirt. Because of how big it was, he felt like he was wearing a dress, and even though it was now fully covered, the gown somehow made his pregnancy look even bigger.

Just like his day, the start of his first prenatal appointment wasn't going as well as he'd hoped. Things didn't get any better when Caleb stopped and really looked at the bed for the first time…

He thought about sitting on it, but realized in order to do so, he'd have to climb onto it. He wasn't short, but the bed was tall. A little too tall for him to be comfortable mounting given his now awkward dimensions and weight distribution, so he decided to wait for Dr. Williams just to be safe.

While he waited, he decided to lean against the side of the bed to alleviate some of the pressure on his lower back and feet. Caleb just finished positioning himself when there was a quiet knock on the door.

He sighed.

Here goes nothing…” he said quietly as he placed his hands atop his swell and forced what he hoped looked like a “happy” smile on his face as he waited for Dr. Williams to enter.
