Plus, I kind of figured not all Fishmen were bad people, as that would be a stupid way to portray them. And it was not as though Arlong himself did not have some redeeming qualities; he did care about his fellow Fishmen and his hatred was borne from legitimate discrimination perpetuated by human ignorance. That said, his methods were abhorrent and what he did to Bellemere is unforgivable.

This is in fact true, as Oda has stated that he originally wanted them bigger from the start but received pushback about it. He has stated that to get back closer to his original vision he gradually increased the size over time. This also had the nice side effect of making her growth into an adult over time more visibly apparent as we can look back and see a much less mature Nami both physically and mentally

I remember thinking that fishmen were going to be the main threat all throughout the series and that the marines were going to just be a joke organization.

2021-09-25 14:27:50 +0000 UTCIn reguards to Morgans prediction, when reffering to "the worst generation" thats actually another name for the 11 supernovas, specifically Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer, Law, Bonney, Apoo, Hawkins, Bege, Drake, and Urogue, so the warlords are not actually included in that prediction since they come from an earlier generation, even though Blackbeard definitely seems like he'll be one of the major competitors for Pirate King

So they will most likely reunite with each other someday. This is the final episode of Whole Cake Island, so we are finished with the musicals. Next arc is a short one, The Reverie. It is likely the most important arc of the series as we will now head to Mariejoas, Home of The Celestial Dragons. There will be game changing revelations happening so hopefully everyone in chat can help explain them to Curtis if he is confused. Everything that happens in The Reverie will impact the Final Saga of One Piece, so get ready for some mind blowing information and setup. Afterwards we will finally reach Wano. Just like everyone has been anticipating. Remember that will be October 12th.

2021-09-25 12:51:29 +0000 UTCWhat Pudding did was very noble. She didn't want Sanji hung up over her and wanted him to live his life as happy as he can. Branch.. I mean Brulee won me over with this tidbit. She is only mad at Strawhat for beating Katakuri, everything else was irrelevant to her. Compare her to Flampe and its clear who the better sibling is. Brulee's love for Kata is unconditional vs Flampe who made it more about herself. I also always smile when he hears Luffy got away. This also marks the end of the Whole Cake Island arc. We have a short segway arc to go through and then its on to Wano.
