Well I haven't actually watched this episode so don't have the full context however I will say from what I gathered online that people who have suicidal thoughts aren't always those people you expect to have those thoughts or even act on them. My guess here is that maybe this Nina is cheerful around her friends but when she's alone she reveals dark thoughts she is having.

2021-08-27 22:40:42 +0000 UTCGrimmer's death was definitely the most intense scene in the entire series. Then at the end where he says Magnificent Steiner must've become human once again. Grimmer was the best written character after Johan.

2021-08-27 17:46:23 +0000 UTCFor me the part that hit hardest was Nina's attempted suicide. Throughout the series there's never been any indication that she'd kill herself. Even after all she'd been through she'd been so kind and cheerful around Dieter, Reichwein, Tenma, Karl and Lotte. It just struck me as incredibly out of character, and not as a result of bad writing. The kind of out of character that happens when shit really hits the fan.
