As I was settling into this as a very cool slice of life story, I definitely did not see the cousins actually being zodiac animals coming!

I remember her saying she admired Tohru's strength of will and character. Me being the emotionless 14 year old I was. The only thing I picked up on was how ditzy Tohru was. Watching this all these years later, at 24 I finally realize what she was talking about.

2021-08-09 17:43:43 +0000 UTCNice! I had a mini moment of "Oh, please let this be the remake" panic. Crisis averted. ^^' Fruits Basket is one of my all-time favorite series, (first manga series I ever collected in full!) and its original adaptation (back in 2001) really didn't do it justice.
