"Shamac" that Subaru used on the dogs was the darkness blinding spell Puck taught him a couple episodes ago ^^ And that story Subaru told Ram where she told him not to tell Rem about with the blue and red demons can now be connected to Rems guilt over them being twins and Ram losing her horn.
