2021-08-08 16:37:57 +0000 UTCI wonder how wide spread the knowledge of the Witch of Envy's name and appearance are. Because if it is widespread knowledge, the fact Emilia used her name as an alias in that first episode is kinda suspect.

2021-08-03 23:11:33 +0000 UTCI think now is a good time to mention this detail that I see in every big arc of this anime. In Re:Zero each big arc has high's and lows. It starts with the current route but then Subaru runs into a threat that doesn't just promise to kill him but his new friends too. This threat could be a band of thieves, a psychopath or even a monster. This is where the High's and Low's come in, Subaru will struggle with the impending threat, the mental affects of dying over and over and this will be the most difficult area to watch (depending on the person watching) as Subaru genuinely struggles to overcome the threat before him and a personal issue's. In the previous arc he never thought to get help with the Bowl Hunter but when he did he was right on the path to beating her. Now this little section would be the Low's of the arc but after that we get the High's. This is where Subaru gets his shit together and uses everything he learned in the previous routes to beat his enemy usually with the help of his new allies and friends. This provides amazing pay offs as Subaru rises to the occasion and becomes a hero. I would like to mention this in consideration of the Directors cut. Something I don't like (and I'm gonna make this clear, this isn't a spoiler, I won't be saying any specific story details only a mention of something I personally dislike about the Directors cut) that during one of the arc's, (not saying which one) we will have our low then our high but then the directors cut decides to add the next arc's big low right at the end. I personally don't like it, it's nothing objective but personally I think we could of rested on a lighter note since this is a very grim, very dark anime but that's just me.

2021-08-03 14:15:52 +0000 UTCSubaru is a very broken person, we get hints of that every now and then but itβs pretty clear that, as sad as it sounds, being transported to Lugunica was the best that ever happened him. The anime conveys it pretty well with his eyes, in the first scene of the series with him at the convenience store his eyes have no light in them but the second heβs transported they are gleaming, so seeing his eyes being so dark in this episode was so sad

2021-08-03 14:04:14 +0000 UTCThe lap pillow scene in this episode will always be one of my all time fav moments in any anime cause how it kinda relates to me, as I have severe anxiety and it's a thing everyday I live with, but I'm not good at expressing how it is and always keep it locked up inside of myself, so on the outside, like subaru I try to act like nothing wrong when I go out with friends or family, yet I'm always panicking on the inside and feel nervous, but there are sometimes where it gets to be to much for me to handle and I have a full blown panic attack, and funnily enough, or I guess it's not that funny but I've had the worst panic attack in my life just like 4 days ago, but when i do get to my breaking point and have panic attacks my mom does basically the same thing Emilia did this episode, tho less lap pillow and more her sitting beside me and rubbing my back or messing with my hair, and telling me is all gonna be fine till I calm down. Like in the grand scheme of the whole anime it's such a small moment but it's so big to me cause how much I can relate to it.
