An interesting detail about this show- those wide beautiful landscape images are painted on an actual canvas. They just animate stuff on top of it. If you look closely you can still see the texture from the canvas in a lot of those frames!

2021-07-25 18:15:29 +0000 UTCAh, a show that people here may not actually have seen as it's a Chinese animated work. I believe that when they created this they only had 6 animators, and the whole studio was like 9 people and a couple interns. Goes to show what you can do with a lot of passion.
