Also the way he dresses all "butler-y" he makes me think of Sebastian from Black Butler

Also he's been planning on using a human form in Tempest for a while, partly because of Shion lol.

Only real sour note on this ending was, as i had mentioned before, the constant humanizing of monster forms. The lizardmen pissed me off, Veldora really made my blood boil though. I get that you can't exactly have a dragon living with you in a city, but cmon. At least he got a decently cool design. Appropriately enough, Part 2 continues on tomorrow, and hopefully we'll get to pick up on it once we're done with our current lineup!

2021-07-05 18:11:49 +0000 UTCI love this series honestly, the characters are so much fun in it, and the fights this season have been amazing, seeing Tempest grow from a tiny Goblin village into a thriving country has been great, and I can't wait till it continues. little detail from the source material that was cut out, during Veldora's diary he talks to Ifrit about taking on a human form to live with Rimuru in tempest, also he's kind of jealous about all the attention Rimuru gives Shion lol, so while inside Rimuru he's been observing her to learn how to get on Rimuru's good side like she does lol.

2021-07-05 14:11:06 +0000 UTCThey kinda goofed the pacing of Season 2 part 1, they left out some stuff in season 1 so they had to kinda cram it into the first several episodes of season 2, then they didn't have enough room to finish the entire story arc, so they had to split the arc, and then add in a bit of filler to fill out the middle episodes. Not too salty since they are finishing up the arc this coming season, just wish we could have seen the whole thing already, it's going to be good.
