SATISFYING BEATINGS! - Reincarnated As A Slime #34

Comments

Those three were stupid. Oh I beat you when you were completely NERFED and even though youโ€™re not I can still beat you? Dumb

Freddy Jimenez

Very cool! :-)

Clearly that kid never watched Way of the Gun. Cause if he had he would know "There's only one thing you can guess about a broken down old man, he's a survivor." Though clearly Razen knows that from experience, even if he is an overconfident, backstabbing douche.

So, to explain that Megiddo attack Rimuru used because I don't recall the anime explaining it: It isn't one single spell, but rather each of those droplets is a small elemental he summoned specifically for the job. The lasers are focused beams of sunlight that refracts and reflects off the small elementals, allowing for near-instantaneous, pinpoint-precise attacks on pretty much any target. Normally summoning that many elementals would be prohibitively expensive magic-wise, but they're weak and small individually, so Rimuru can summon a *lot* of them without running out of magic. You'll notice that the tiny droplet ones near the targets disappear after the laser. If memory serves, the description was something like "that much light passing through such a small elemental boils it away." So essentially they pass the laser and evaporate, meaning Rimuru has to keep summoning those tiny ones. Thankfully, Great Sage makes it all possible.

That is perhaps the most psychotic thumbnail thats ever come out of this reaction patreon, and i love it!

It's occurred to me that maybe this is why everyone targets slimes first in an rpg, if every slime got this op no one would stand a chance

Mighty Snake

Well put. I completely agree!

Great quote!

It's nice to see side characters get a chance to shine, a lot of action anime falls into the problem of the main character becoming so powerful everyone else just kinda becomes pointless.

Ding-dong, the bitches are dead! Which old bitches? The wicked bitches. The fact that this is an utter stomp without the barriers makes it so much more satisfying. Also, I love Meggido.

Tyler

I will maintain a realistic assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. Even though this takes some of the fun out of the job, at least I will never utter the line "No, this cannot be! I AM INVINCIBLE!!!" (After that, death is usually instantaneous.) โ„–24 from "Things I'd do if I ever became an evil overlord"

Megiddo is an amazing attack. It uses water to refect and refract sunlight and basically, shoot lasers via sunlight. It doesn't require magic to use so it can work in an anti-magic area. You're going to love what happens to blondie next episode.

Richie Roberts

To quote Doctor Who, Be wary when a good man goes to war, also the meggido ost always gives me chills
