Damn, if Hinata could only understand what actually went on with Shizu, this whole thing would be entirely different!

HINATA DOESN'T WANT TO CHAT! - Reincarnated AS A Slime #30

Interesting take; I hadn’t thought about that.

Completely agree!!

The thing I don't get about Hinata is if Shizu was the only one who was kind to her in this world? Why the hell does she give a damn about a God of this world? Why the hell is she a champion of a Church of this world? It makes no sense to me. Honestly the attitude of the Otherworlder Trio that attacked Tempest makes way more sense in that context. Not this fanaticism that Hinata seems to display towards a god of this world that she hates.

We're finally caught up to where season one ended. I'm more upset at whoever is pulling Hinata's strings and manipulating her with false information than I am at Hinata herself. But those fucktards attacking Tempest right now can all go die in a fire. I'd call them pieces of shit, but that would be an insult to the dump I took this morning. There are truly no words to describe how low they are.

I’m withholding judgment on Hinata until I find out who the informant was, and specifically what they said to her. If it is someone she trusts, I can definitely see her believing them over a monster she was told deceives humans.

Yeah, Hinata is pretty harsh here. Church dogma and a direct lie from a trusted source are pretty much her only justification here, and even having a little Talk No Jutsu wouldn't help since she's wary of being deceived by a monster and she has such a one track mind. Though, once full context on why she is that way rolls around it makes sense. Also, the anonymous tipper is an asshole on general principle.

Hinata is understandable, but not justified, you don't just recieve an annonymus tip and decide to end someone, even a monster, without checking your facts first. But she does have a pretty one track mind

"Dio Jr." - Perfectly put! 😁

Spaz Boys Comedy

You really think I don't pay any attention to what I'm watching at all, don't you? 😂

Spaz Boys Comedy

Nope, didn't miss that fact at all. My point is, she's obviously set on going with what she believes to be the truth, and has no interest in questioning it when presented with a different scenario. Because I am critical of someone for their thought processes doesn't mean I discount how they came up with them.

Spaz Boys Comedy

Yea, I definitely see she's set in her beliefs.

Spaz Boys Comedy

That's my main issue with Hinata here. Yes, she specifically got info that skewed her thoughts on what the situation between her and Shizu was. But, the fact that she is not willing to listen to Rimuru at all shows that she has a one track mind. To be fair, it's likely Hinata has no qualms about killing monsters because pretty much all monsters she has likely fought were evil creatures, hence the Church doctrine. It could be a rarity to find monsters that have intellect and aren't inherently murderous. So her perspective is quite skewed. Especially considering there are intelligent monsters and Demon Lords who can act innocent and still be evil underneath it all. So this anti-monster doctrine is "justified", but I still fucking hate it as it generalizes ALL monsters under this one umbrella instead of actually leaving wiggle room for blatant exceptions to the rule. And while I can see why she would rather just go in and not listen and potentially be mislead by a monster, she is still taking one person's word against another's because the one who sent her the letter was a non-monster instead of truly being logical and listening to both stories with equal scrutiny. It's just a mess here and unfortunately, Tempest are the victims in this mess that Clayman is instigating. DIO Jr. needs to go.

She's one of those characters with a one-track mind, she assumes Rimuru is an evil monster and therefore everything he says is a lie. He wasn't going to get through to her in this situation.
