2021-06-27 03:40:37 +0000 UTCI've shared similar sentiments to Hyruler's about Eva before. That I feel sorry for Eva because of how wretched a human being she is. Someone who's never going to be a decent person and probably never had the chance to be one. Honestly when I first saw this episode, I was hoping that her relationship with the gardener would make her turn over a new leaf. That he'd be a good influence on her, then his came back. I disagree with Hyruler on Lunge though. Lunge I feel sorry for because he has a wife and a daughter and he's so emotionally stunted. That he can't see that one's been cheating behind his back, or that the fact that he's going to be a grandfather and he should be overjoyed about that. He can't comprehend that they won't be there when he gets back. He doesn't even react that much when they're finally gone. His is a sad and joyless existence where only his work exists and he can't even see that. That's why I feel sorry for him.

Even after finding out his family is leaving, he doesn’t show any regret or remorse. What they have in common is that they both look down on others.
