It's funny you mention the Hulk show because I've always associated the two. I wonder if anyone's set Tenma walking away from a place to the Lonely Man theme from that show.

2021-06-26 00:44:28 +0000 UTCWhen you brought up The Incredible Hulk it made me wonder if Urasawa had ever seen the show and taken inspiration from it. There was a point during the 70s and 80s early in the days of Anime being introduced to the West. Where Americans would trade VHS tapes of American TV shows like Charlie's Angels, the Dukes of Hazzard and The Waltons for VHS' of Anime like Gundam. The Incredible Hulk is about the right era for it. So it's a possibility.
