Yeah, Willy's Speech is essentially "All horror storys about paradis are wrong and we are all frauds, but hey, there's this one dude who has the founding titan and will kill us any second despite not doing it for 4 Years! Who wants some war seasoned with genocide? I know I oversimplified a bit but still :D Does Willy know that Eren cant, in fact, start the rumbling on his own? Having read the manga, willy is only one of 2 people in AOT that I consider atleast almost a bad guy

If you notice, at first Eren is really empathizing with Reiner. But once Willy states his declaration of war he snaps back and realizes that it doesn’t matter that him and Reiner relate, cuz Willy and them want war despite knowing the truth. So Eren keeps moving forward, I really love his character development

Ah yes, nothing like a good old race war to get your blood pumping!
You know I never really understood how for the past 100 years Marley has been the nation that has killed, oppressed and suppressed other cultures, yet Willy somehow managed to convince the world to join forces with Marley, especially the mid East alliance who literally just finished having a 4 year long war with them. Personally my priority would be to bring down Marley at this point.

I'm surprised Curtis didn't realize that Dr. Jaeger from the last episode is Erens grandpa

The scene in the basement there with Eren and Reiner is my top 3 scenes of this show. It beautifully captures the Duality of the two. Originally Eren hated him and wanted to kill everyone until he walked in Reiners shoes and seen the other side of the sea wasn’t what he thought, and so he forgave Reiner And even empathized with him, but regardless still has to do what needs to be done for his people on paradi. It’s crazy to think of how much Eren has matured as a person

I think Willy's story lines up pretty well with what we saw from previous seasons. How Uri Reiss (the king before Historia's sister) talked about this being the twilight years for the walls and accepting it and how the moment anybody would inherit the founder, no matter their previous wishes, seemed bound to the will of King Fritz. Not to mention their lack of action when the walls broke supports the idea that King Fritz intended not to fight back.

This has to be the quickest retaliation to a declaration of war in the history of ever.

And sometimes in anime you see things from the "bad guys" perspective (Overlord)

In war there rarely is good or bad guy, just people slaughtering each other...

All the way back in season 1 Reiner was the one who told Eran that he just needed to keep moving forward. Eran throwing that line right back at him at the end is just cold.
